SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — California is moving to give driver's licenses to young immigrants who are in the country illegally but would no longer face deportation under a recently announced policy change by the Obama administration.
AB2189 would require the Department of Motor Vehicles to accept as proof of legal residence whatever document the federal government provides to participants in its deferred action program. It passed 25-7 Wednesday and returns to the Assembly.

A million legal, productive citizens are now fleeing the state every year which is destroying their housing market.

What an utterly stupid statement! California has 10% of all the population in the country ( that’s a whole not of “no one wants to live there).. Sure the RATs are in charge, and you read stupid stuff like this, but it really has no bearing on daily life. You are just jealous thinking about our beautiful weather as you make the trip from your double wide to the outdoor privy in that 90/90 weather while you think about going back inside and making love to your spouse/cousin under the swamp cooler. I’d say it sucks to be you!
