New Poll Confirms Akin Resurgence
http://www.rogerhedgecock.com/story/19329977/ppp-akin-mccaskill-44-43 ^ | self

Looks as if PPP a Democrat Polling firm has confirmed the FRC poll of just 2 days ago showing Akin surging back on McCaskill.

Looks as if the reports of the (political) death of Akin were a tad premature.

The Libs are holding their fire until September 25th deadline to drop out, when they will then lower the boom and shout “SUCKERS!!!”

If the Democrats and their MSM brethern stop talking about Akin then I’ll look at that as confirmation of a resurgent Akin.

Is this case similar to Carbonite now begging to go back on Rush’s show?

Haha. I was one of the many who thought Akin was dead in the water, but maybe we all underestimated Missouri’s awareness of how terrible McRaskill is. Imagine if he won! The libs would go into cardiac arrest!

MEA CULPA, MEA CULP, MEA CULPA:

If the PPP (Daily KOS) a Democrat Poll has Akin even than I maybe incorrect in my assessment of Akin and him losing this seat.

Still I want to see more of the same, but I will eat crow and humble pie and admit that this is good news.

Still do not think he is going to get GOP money based on this one poll.

I'm not a big Akin fan, but it's possible he could pull this one out - as long as he keeps his trap shut for the rest of the election. Let's see what condition he's in after a week of bashing next week. You KNOW that he's going to be the topic du jour.

Did he say that? Man, I believe politicians probably should avoid discussing lesbians drinking semen. Maybe he had an internal poll indicating it was a hot issue in Mo.

I just looked at the PPP poll Roger Hedgecock referred to in his source...

See that PPP Poll he referred to here:

http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/main/2012/08/akin-44-mccaskill-43.html

It says at the very top, the date of the poll — AUGUST 20,2012.

Rasmussen had a latter poll (dated 8/23) that showed Akin down by 10.

see here: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0812/80043.html

However the most recent poll commissioned by the FRC had Akin up by 3.

See here:

That doesn’t even make sense.

I mean, shouldn’t lesbians need to drink uh female uh secretions ahem uh to go straight?

They clearly already have an over abundance of testosterone, so obviously they need to drink copious amounts of estrogen.

Let’s keep the science straight here! (pun intended)

I am in Missouri, and IF Akin had said this, I can assure you old crazy commie Claire would have been given hours of free advertising time to bash Akin over the head once again. BUT since the accusation has been made I fully expect the 'evidence' to be presented.... else we all know the accuser is a LIAR!!!!

If I were advising the McCaskill team, I would never recommend that for a game plan. Can you imagine pitching that to the team? "Let's wait until four weeks before the election, fully after the time when this issue is settled in everyone's mind, around the time everyone is sick to death of hearing about it, and then our side will do a media blast to bring it around all over again." Yeah, not a winner. If that is the best team McCaskill can produce, the election is all but over for her.

I knew that Mo voters were not going to throw their freedom away just because of a "gaffe" from Aiken. They know for absolute sure that Ms McCaskill's agenda is Obama's agenda.

Senator McCaskill has already proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that she don't give a rat's ass about Missouri voters since she had a chance to stop Obama care by herself, and chose not to.

I think you're the victim of rampant satire...

The Daily Currant (SATIRE) - Todd Akin Claims Breastmilk Cures Homosexuality

“Lesbians can be cured by drinking something else,” Akin replied “I'll leave that one to your imagination.”

YEP. Claire ran on that message in 06 and it was a winner even though it was not true. But due to this scuffle everyone knows that it is true regarding Akin and it will play well in Missouri.

Please do not repeat satire as fact, dangus. If it's a PPP or a FRC poll, I wouldn't put too much stock in it. They both want Akin to stay in, although for different reasons: PPP, because they want a weak opponent for ObamaClaire; FRC, because they are the true believers.

Now if several other polls start showing an Akin surge to within four points or so, then that would get my attention.

Why would a red state who voted for McCain last time go into the polling booth and pull a lever for a Democrat this year, when Obama is surely going to be even less popular? Only if Akin had an actual scandal under his belt, not just a politically correct witchhunt by the liberal consultant class.

It sure would have been easy enough to have provided the source from which such 'bizarre' accusation were made. I know that IF Akin had said such a thing, my local media would have given old crazy commie Claire hours of response time... The perverts rule the air waves...

Further, I appreciate you exposing the source. I am not going to pollute my computer by going to their site.
