1. Dazzling
At least a quarter of Americans still dont know who Paul Ryan is, and only about half who know and have an opinion of him view him favorably. So, Ryans primary job tonight was to introduce himself and make himself seem likeable, and he did that well. The personal parts of the speech were very personally delivered, especially the touching parts where Ryan talked about his father and mother and their roles in his life. And at the end of the speech, when Ryan cheered the crowd to its feet, he showed an energy and enthusiasm thats what voters want in leaders and what Republicans have been desperately lacking in this campaign.

On the other hand, to anyone paying the slightest bit of attention to facts, Ryans speech was an apparent attempt to set the world record for the greatest number of blatant lies and misrepresentations slipped into a single political speech. On this measure, while it was Romney who ran the Olympics, Ryan earned the gold.
A Blatant Attack on Paul Ryan
Yepper. Blatant and as deceptive as abubama trying to cover his blueness with makeup and lip gloss.
God-hating commie.
“Kohn met her partner, Sarah Hansen, at the World Social Forum in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 2003. Hansen works as an activist and consultant, and is the former Executive Director of the Environmental Grantmakers Association. They have a 3 year old girl, Willa Eliza Hansen-Kohn.”
Consider the source. Does she wear a vagina suit when she appears on Fox?
In four words:
God-hating lesbo commie.
Classy, honest, compassionate!
I made the mistake of looking this dyke up on google images. She’s quite the she-man! Why is she employed by Fox. Why would they print this crap on their web site? Why are their no comments listed after that article on Fox.com? I stopped watching Fox a long time ago. What the hell is going on over there?

More questions: Why did I double post? Why did I use ‘their’ incorrectly? Why did I not use a question mark after every question? Ugh!
Donations pouring into Obama like 10-1 and Murdoch running scared. Foxnews has been gone awhile. The farther they move to the left the more emboldened and more left CNN and msnbc goes left.
I agree it's more descriptive, but at least partially redundant. (grin)
I loved Ryan’s speech, he will be a great leader.
So let me see if I understand this person with an IQ slightly below that of a garden gnome.
Our CREDIT (debt) rating was dropped BECAUSE Republicans threatened not to RAISE DEBT (credit) ceiling?
So if I understand her correctly, if I just go out and apply for and receive more credit cards, then take my new cards plus my existing cards and run them to the hilt, my credit rating will stay good?
Dyke alert!
Fair and Balanced doesn’t mean hire a Rachel Maddow clone.
Ryan didnt mention his previous plan to hand over Social Security to Wall Street.Yeah, but you didnt mention that the Social Security Trust Fund is invested in the IOUs of the federal government. Meaning, that the same institution which controls my investment is borrowing my money - as surely a conflict of interest when the government does it as when Ponzi or Madoff did it.Nor did you mention that the government is determined to take control of my medical care as well as my Social Security retirement annuity. Meaning that the same entity which pays out money if I stay alive demands that I trust it to keep me alive. Another blatant conflict of interest.
You know what you sound like with your continuous demands to be trusted???
You sound exactly like a con artist.
I particularly loved him mentioning having decisions made by the “central government”—a clear stab at the socialistic/communistic government that obama” mandates and executive orders” us with.
“I loved Ryans speech, he will be a great leader.”
That’s why the left has gone nuts on Ryan. Apoplectic. IT WAS A GREAT SPEECH AND IT MADE THE CASE FOR FIRING OBAMA VERY WELL.
All they have left is sputtering deceptive he is, but really they are trotting out their lame leftie talking point arguments, which are not valid, and saying Ryan is lying because he doesnt agree with their excuses, evasions, and half-truths.
They know if people listen and give credence to Ryan, Obama is electoral roadkill.
Fact1: credit rating was actually downgraded because the deficit agreement Obama and the Congress eventually did was not sufficient to the task at hand, according to S&P. The problem was and is too much deficit spending under President Obama.
Fact2: Liberals keep lying about it.
Hello mountn man,
I’m new to this site and saw your post about the US credit rating drop. As a former MBA student, I’d like to make a point— raising the debt ceiling is not about taking out more loans. It was about not defaulting on loans that are already in place, as current government expenditure outweighs income. Not raising the ceiling would have meant a failure to pay off outstanding loans. If such a disastrous event were to occur, the US dollar would decrease drastically in value. It was such a big concern that even the threat of not raising the ceiling resulted in a lowering of our credit rating.
Please let me know if you have any questions or see any errors in my argument
Thanks!
Joe
With all due respect, you are mistaken.
If the debt ceiling was not raised, that would simply force the administration to set priorities on whom should be paid and who cannot.
American families and businesses face these priorities every month when there is a cash shortfall (increasingly often).
The intelligent among them decide to pay the mortgage, make payroll and pay their outstanding debts first. Then they deal with the other current bills.
Government is no different.
Net:net -- refusing to raise the debt ceiling does NOT equal default. It simply forces the administration to make decisions they don't want to make.
