Paul Backers Aided Disruption of Ryan’s Speech (Code Pink - Ron Paul alliance)

The women’s antiwar group CodePink was behind the disruption of Representative Paul D. Ryan’s speech on Wednesday night, but it was in part a product of the Romney campaign’s continuing dispute with Ron Paul supporters.

“An angry Ron Paul person was like, here, take my pass,” said Laura Mills, the 21-year-old CodePink intern who was escorted out of the Tampa Bay Times Forum after interrupting Mr. Paul’s speech.

Ms. Mills and a more seasoned activist, Ann Wright, were just waiting for Mr. Ryan to say something about health care. When he did, they yelled, “Health care, not warfare” and “My body, my choice.” Ms. Mills unfurled a banner that read, “Vagina: Can’t Say It? Don’t Legislate It,” a reference to an abortion debate in Michigan when a female lawmaker was barred from speaking after referring to women’s genitals.

It wasn't much of a disruption, I didn't realize anything out of the ordinary had happened until Fox panned the Camera to some chick being drug out of the center. It didn't even faze Ryan, and at the time it occurred it just seemed to be a natural pause for applause.

This has been brought up before on previous threads. Perhaps by you. It's struck me that it was a CNN camerawoman who was struck. You'd think there would be video available. I'd love to identify those throwers...

We had a Paultard get on our local Quinn and Rose Radio Show on the drive to work this morning.

Just as the Paultard launched into his "Romney is as Bad as Obama" talking point, Quinn pointed out that this is the first time since Goldwater that the GOP has put a return to the gold standard and audit of the Fed into their platform.

It was also the first time I've heard Quinn actually cut-off a loony tunes caller than try to reason with them even briefly.
