Damn that was a great speech. This guy is ALL CLASS as are most conservatives.
Still, anyone know if he’s given up being pro-abortion?
Eastwood was excellent! He obviously has contempt for Obama.
Almost fell out of my chair when he leaned over and said: (Paraphrasing) "What? Tell Romney What?" "He can't do to himself."
A must see!
I thought he did really well. He injected some humor, and also made several very good points. Sounded like your wise old grand-dad passing on some hard-earned wisdom.
I enjoyed Eastwood’s speech. He seemed a little “off” to me, but maybe he’s always like that these days.(?) He wasn’t all gung-ho for Romney, but seemed very logical in his reasoning for wanting to see Ozero out of office. He will get no argument from me!
I waited all evening to see Clint and it was well worth the wait. I enjoyed every word of his speech. What a guy!

I was impressed. We don’t need a lawyer in the White House
I agree. He seemed a little bit like a crazy old guy, but that’s okay! I enjoyed it.

WOAH! These speeches blew my mind. The stories about Romney that the old couple and the woman told brought me to tears they were so powerful. Tell me, HOW CAN THE DEMS TOP THIS?
He’s still so handsome. Maybe he will start a trend that it’s cool to be conservative in Hollywood.
oh please
Just like that film, a lot of people saw it and said they enjoyed it, but deep down, they know it was not very good.
They are probably freaking out at MSNBC. BO can’t tell stories about growing up in America so I’m glad they all talked extensively about their parents and grandparents. BO can’t do this cause they were all anti american commies.
report is that the teleprompter froze and he had to wing it.
Clint was a mistake.
Great screen name...I loved that show! :)
I wished someone would upload the video of Clint as i want to download it for posterity.
I can see tomorrows headlines now:
Senile, stuttering, racist old white man talks to empty chair.
And it’s already starting. The Madcow just said his speech were the incoherent ramblings of someone with alzheimers.
Love Eastwood, but having him speak was a mistake. Sure, he got some laughs, but the media will have a field day with his performance. He will be ridiculed to no end by the likes of Maher, Letterman, Conan, and, of course, the media.
You can say that again. Still, despite a few awkward spots where I wondered if he had memorized his speech but had trouble recalling what came next or had vision problems and couldn’t see or at least couldn’t find the next line, he was great. The humor was classy and excellent, and he’s still Clint. I just hope he was feeling tired today, and age isn’t really slowing him down that much.
My dad is there on the convention floor and texted me to say that the prompter wasn’t working. He did that without prompter or notes.
Ol’ Rowdy hasn’t aged well.
Bringing him in is a slap in face.
Do you people have any intention of winning or is this just to give it all away to your friend Obama?
I thought he did fine. In the movies you get to re-do the lines until they are just right.
Movie stars are generally not good public speakers—and when you see them stumble a little it is so different it is more noticeable.
I thought he spoke for “ Everyman .”
Clint should of looked at the empty chair and said “Right turn Clyde!”
lets hope Obamas teleprompter stops as well
You do know that Romney is a Havard Law grad, don’t you?
Did he ever practice law?
That is so true! I actually said that out loud. “Obama can’t make a video like that”... you can almost feel sorry for a weak man who grew up surrounded by people who hated America. How could we ever believe he would understand how America worked? Obama is a tragedy.
I think so too.
I also think his material went over most ppl's heads including those at PMSNBC ...
That was rather embarrassing. Clint *was* a good actor but his politics have always been a bit squishy and he just seemed to be taking up valuable speaking time. Was anyone really moved by this rambling hem-haw of a alzheimer moment?
I’d bet Sarah Palin would have energized the crowd twice as well and got off more zingers.
He’s not a lawyer. Going to law school doesn’t make you aa lawyer.
And FWIW, I think Mitt is giving an excellent speech...
Madcow can shut her face.
oh please .. part deux
I don’t think Clint gives a dam what they say about him. I wouldn’t either if I was famous enough to have everyone know my name....He can laugh all the way to the bank...
America is selling her soul. Even if the economy turns around, judgment will come to a nation that declares God is just and then sacrifices their unborn. America has legalized most of what God hates.
Clint is Eighty Frikkin Two now! I hope if I even live that long, I could do as well.
Obama will have a hard time overcoming Eastwood’s ridicule. His delivery may have been a little less than polished, but his ridicule was right on point. Politicians can overcome criticism and arguments, but no politician can overcome ridicule.
That’s the strength of Eastwood’s presentation.
Romney passed the Michigan bar exam and was admitted to the state bar in 1975. I guess that makes you lawyer...
Get off it. You people are so utterly boring.
“He will be ridiculed to no end by the likes of Maher, Letterman, Conan, and, of course, the media.”
What value do you place on the comments of fools and why do you give them credit for their empty comments?
Should you not pay heed to wisdom and not to the ramblings of the Village Idiot?
No it doesn’t. That’s like sayin a grad of med school is a doctor.
