My wife’s canine walking companion of 12 years is suffering from heart failure due to a early heart-worm infection before she adopted us. The two of them have walked together over 16,000 miles plus all the ball and bird chasing here...
Smoke has had a strange one tonight. Flash has looked good.
12 in dog years plus all them miles,, considering her condition, that’s pretty good. I wish my dogs chased squirrels, we got enough of ‘em.

She had 2 years on her when we met her through Friends for Life. I think all that walking strengthened her heart until 6 months ago when she refused to fetch the tennis ball.
Sorry to hear about your dog. We lost our oldest dog about a year ago. She was 75 lbs and lived to 15 years old. She was an old girl, but it was still hard to lose her.
