I liked it too.
I flipped over to PMSNBC and Rachel Madcow looked like she had been kicked in her testicles.
She was gagging and frothing at the mouth. Hehe..
He reminded me of Jimmy Stewart when he did comedy (if you’re old enough to remember him). Especially the way he stammered for comedic effect.

I thought it was scary. There were some funny lines, but he was what an old boss of mine called a “loose cannon”. He looked frail and unorganized/disoriented. Like a guy at a wedding who stands up to give some thoughts, off the cuff, about the groom.
At least it was brief and people will probably remember the funny parts.
BTW, THANKS !!!!
I thought Clint was great. Others are saying the teleprompter quit working and he had to ad-lib his speech.
One of my favorite lines was that a lot of people in Hollywood are “left of Lennin”.
Not bad for an 82 year old.

For an 82 year old man he looked damn good. I enjoyed his speech, he’s not a politician, he didn’t go looking at a teleprompter to tell him what to say, he spoke from the heart, and cracked some jokes, it was entertaining, and he also made a lot of valid points. I hope I look that good at 82 years young
Only thing that would have made it better would have been if he had had an empty suit sitting on the empty chair.....
Obama relished bashing G. W. Bush at every turn for four years. Nice to see somebody turn the tables on him.
A lot of guys would have “mailed it in” by having pre-recorded an editable video. You have to admire Clint - he put comedians on notice. You can make fun of Obama.
I guess people who don’t get it don’t get it. Clint, not simply an actor but a Hollywood legend, a successful actor, producer, writer, composer, and director - in other words an American success story - told Obama where to get off in words that will be understood from the salons of Hollywood to the docks of Hoboken, from the barrooms of the upper midwest to the retirement villages of Florida. The sophisticates of the dying dinosaur media from the “lovely” Andrea Mitchell to the spittle-spraying Chris Matthews will heap scorn on old Clint, but in their hearts they know he did damage to Demo hopes of connecting with independents and people who usually don’t vote ... they might this time just because Clint said, “It’s time to let him go.”
I wept. “We” own this country. Anglo saxon Patriots OWN this country. If you disagree, I hope you like the taste of steel.
No, Mr. Obama, Mitt can’t do that to himself...
Somebody needs to send Greta a 55 gallon drum of industrial strength Prozac. She’s still freaking out over Clint. I really hope she doesn’t hurt herself.

Best speech of the convention, IMO. Real, unscripted, funny, enjoyable.
Thank you, it was great to read the lines again. His speech was fun and sharply critical of Obama while still being humorous and geniune :-)
Eastwood used Alinsky on ‘em!
“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon”
And he made their fearless leader look like a fool!
