In defense of Clint Eastwood: He was weird, but fantastic
Yahoo ^

Go ahead. Vet my day. A fistful of incoherence. High slurs rambler. Every which way and loose.

Clint Eastwood, the 82-year-old movie star and director, inspired what seemed like enthusiasm inside the Republican National Convention's Tampa Bay Times Forum—and disbelief outside it and on Twitter.

... I can see weird people.

Some liked it; some didn’t. I enjoyed it. I think the liberals hated his words/routine going after Obama because it was effective in some ways. At least, he was honest, funny and you know they didn’t write his message for him. To me, he was the best of the speakers because he is solid; he could care less what they in the media say.

Sorry, guess I just a little prejudice (is that raaaaacist?) but I didn't see it that way.

I'm guessing he sort of winged it and was making it up as he went along.

Naturally, all Leftist/Libs/Commies/RATS, etc. and their sycophant Dear Reader supporters are going to be upset that a notable Hollyweird actor was making sport of their Messiah.

I thought I was going to fall out of my chair when he supposedly was told by O'Bummer to tell Mitt to go fungool himself and said: "what do you want me to tell Romney? I can’t tell him to do that. I can’t tell him to do that to himself.

Tooooo funny.

He brought the house down when he said "We own this country" and he said what needs to be said over and over and over: The pols (and all other gov't employees) "WORK FOR US", hinting "We hire(d) you, we can fire your worthless asses" and then he drove the Libs nuts when he made a throat cutting gesture.

THE best line of the Convention: Clint talking to Obama

“NO, I can’t do that to myself.”

Not sure if this is true but I read on a thread a few minutes ago that his telepromter froze on the first page. He was doing it from memory. Not bad for a 80 year old.

I enjoyed it. Clint did what we do when we just ramble out loud and laugh to/at with ourselves. As we get older, we do it more often.

Hmmm....Am I rambling???

lol..just watching it now...it wasn’t “weird” at all unless you’re a democrat. It was funny. He made specific appeals to different groups. I got it.

That was a good line. The only problem is that everyone is talking Clint Eastwood and not Romney who should have been the main topic today.

Anything that tweaks the liberals and the media (but I repeat myself) is fine with me. The empty chair was a great representation of Obama.

If you compare Clint Eastwood and Obama, at least Clint has a record you can follow back to 1930. With Obama, his record is said to start in 1961 but with all the hidden parts, it is hard to follow or even find anyone who knew him as a youth or school mate. Even his book uses made up girlfriends. Clint can speak of his films while all Obama mentions of his record is that it was not his fault.

The empty chair is Obama.

The only difference is if Obama had actually been there is, there would have a teleprompter on each side of the chair... and an empty suit sitting upon it.
