The Wall Street Journal ^ | 08/31/12 | Joe Palazzola

Posted on 08/31/2012 8:00:59 AM PDT by AtlasStalled

Clint Eastwood doesn’t think you’re fit for the presidency. His speech at the RNC last night, an embarrassment of riches for late-night comedians, included an argument against attorneys leading the free world.

They are probably replacing all the TV’s at the WH as I’m sure Moochelle broke all of them.

Dang; obama a lawyer? I thought his degree was in community organizing and race-bating!

Tha author claims Mitt is a “trained lawyer.” I received my JD in 1976 and have practised law since then. Getting a law degree is not the same thing as being a lawyer. Mitt may have received training to become a lawyer, but he is not a lawyer.

Philo Beddoe Lampooned the Zero like SNL should have done years ago if it weren’t a commie rat trap.

Too bad Clyde wasn’t sitting in the chair eating his GD Oreo’s.

I question the good but that bad and the ugly seems about right.

Judging by the criticism from the left I think it is obvious Clint scored a few direct hits.

I know many were taken by Clint’s speech, but this was just one of the many embarrassing things that Clint said. I have $50 bucks that someone told him afterwards, “Uh..you do know that Mitt graduated from the Harvard School of Law, right?”

Yes he does, but decided it was not his cup of tea so went for his business degree. He graduated with honors in both cases.

The man does not have fail in his vocabulary.

Ted Cruz is a lawyer, & he would make a fantastic president. Since he’s not eligible, we’ll have to settle for him making a fantastic senator & perhaps one day a SCOTUS justice.

It's the hair. They have to be talking about the hair in the picture on the left. By the way, Romney furthest left and Mooshell furthest right in the picture?

You have to give the 82-year old patriot real credit. He has been so successful, and provided so much entertainment all while being a patriot and not having to grovel to the radical leftist nutjobs of Hollywood to be one of the best actors, producers, directors in all of it.

Clint got his message across last night. There was no doubting it. Especially when you mix in the themes and messages in his latest movies. God bless you Clint — one of the REAL Americans in Hollywood.

How very astute of you to recognize what Eastwood was doing while legions of "journalists" and "historians" missed it completely and attributed this masterful presentation to ramblings of a demented senior.

Romney still wanted to pursue a business path, but his father advised him that a law degree would be valuable to his career.[59][60] Thus he became one of only fifteen students to enroll at the recently created joint Juris Doctor/Master of Business Administration four-year program coordinated between Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School.[61] Fellow students considered him guilelessly optimistic, noting his solid work ethic and buttoned-down demeanor and appearance.[61][62] He readily adapted to the business school's pragmatic, data-driven case study method of teaching, participated in class well, and led a study group whom he pushed to get all A's.[60] He had a different social experience from most of his classmates, since he lived in a Belmont, Massachusetts house with Ann and two children.[47][60] He was non-ideological and did not involve himself in the political or social issues of the day.[47][60] He graduated in 1975 cum laude from the law school, in the top third of that class, and was named a Baker Scholar for graduating in the top five percent of his business school class.[57][61]

but he never practiced law.....

I’d bet that the JD was to the MBA as, in a saner world, a .45 would be for a walk on Chicago streets.
