Limbaugh: Clint Got Under Obama's Skin
washingtontimes.com ^ | August 31, 2012 | Stephen Dinan

Hollywood may be bashing Clint Eastwood's performance at the GOP convention, but Rush Limbaugh said Friday the reason is that he touched a nerve with leftist celebrities — and with the president himself.

Pointing to the photo the Obama camp tweeted after midnight showing the back of the president's head above the office chair in the Oval Office, Mr. Limbaugh said that proves the White House was worried. And he wondered whether it was Mr. Obama himself.

"It must have gotten to him because he tweeted at 12:30," Mr. Limbaugh said Friday on his radio program.

The President is a sham.

Conservatives succeeded in shining a flood light on “O’s” failures and inertia.

So the President, being the little man he is, responded directly to a kind of mockery that mature men, who are accomplished and professional politicians shrug off daily.

There's blood in the water, now.

I notice it says “President” on the back of his chair. I guess that’s necessary because he doesn’t act like one. With Romney in the Oval Office, you wont need the leader’s chair labeled.

OK, I’ll play along. Let’s say Barry was working after 12:30 last night. Does that make him a good POTUS? No, but it does demonstrate how the left thinks - that trying or working hard is all that’s needed.

As Mr. Eastwood pointed out, Barry works for me. I’m not happy with his work and he needs to be let go. As a manager, I appreciate those that work hard for me. But if the quality of their work is poor, their long hours an excercise in futility... something or someone has to change.

The best laugh I had today was seeing that Puckered Prune-faced Andrea Mitchell go ballistic on CNN, the lowest-rated network, over Eastwood’s presentation. She was in a high dudgeon....and so concerned that his running over time caused them not to rerun the Romney family video, which of course, Andrea Mitchell was soooooo interested in. What a pathetic old phony.

Just an incredibly lame response from the President of the United States to make.

It wasn't lame. It was petulant and vindictive. It was a slap in the face of every American who are the actual owners of that chair. We own the chair, not him, yet he strove to claim it as his own. Well, we'll see, won't we?

As to Eastwood, he was masterful. Don't be fooled by his appearance and delivery. I suspect that was staged just as the chair was a prop. Eastwood's a senior, and he played the senior, having a sit-down-moment with his wayward relation. It was a woodshed moment.

The chair didn't represent Obama's absence, it represented an administration empty of ideas, of progress, of a plan, empty of representative government.

And Eastwood used Obama's responses to show his disdain for the American people as a whole. His real character as opposed to his MSM created image. Really, a masterful performance.

The Silver Chair - C.S. Lewis
one book in The Chronicles of Narnia

An enchanted chair holds a true heir of Narnia hostage by enchanting him (a witch is behind the enchantment.

Upon being released from the chair while in control of his own senses the prince destroys the chair.

So applicable! :)

There's blood in the water, now.

Obama is a venal, shallow lightweight and his response to Clint is a demonstration of this. Let's add some chum to the water...
