Just hours after a producer for deranged MSNBC host Chris Matthews was accused of physically assaulting Republicans outside the partys national convention last night, Matthews himself has admitted to verbally confronting several GOP delegates at a restaurant in Tampa, Florida calling them a douchebag convention.
According to The Hill newspaper, the perpetually angry liberal television host confronted the delegates early Friday morning following taunting questions they asked about whether he felt thrilled following GOP nominee Mitt Romneys acceptance speech.
The controversy began, according to a witness interviewed by The Hill when Matthews twice refused to acknowledge a New York delegate named Eric Ulrich who had greeted him. This prompted other Republican patrons of the restaurant to begin heckling him for the perceived slight:
He headed back into the restaurant to mix it up with them. I wanted to confront them, Matthews said, describing his exchange with the men as towel-snapping among guys.
Matthews said he told the rowdy group, Whats this, a douchebag convention?
The Republicans became angry and retorted back.
I told him thats next week," said New York delegate Anthony Nunziato, referring to the Democratic convention in Charlotte, N.C., that will start on Tuesday.
Little Chrissy can’t take the pressure. He can’t understand why everyone doesn’t love Barry as much as he does.
That confirms it; he's queer.
When Chrissy takes his show on the road, he usually does it from a bar.
He needs to be sent to the asylum for treatment. He is mentally ill.
Seriously, why doesn’t Comcast fire his butt?
I would have asked him outside, and kicked his ass.
Sissy Chrissy, in former days would have several missing teeth and a fat lip......perpetually.
Chrissie Matthews and msnbc.....unfair and really unbalanced.
the jack*ss is the poster boy of the democrats comin’ unhinged. it’s a true thing of beauty.
I told him thats next week," said New York delegate Anthony Nunziato, referring to the Democratic convention in Charlotte, N.C...
Now, thats funny.
The libs are in full blown panic!
Mathews is an alcoholic who appears to have fallen off the wagon. I guess you could call that mentally ill.
Starts with towels, ends with lead. The left are nuts....be careful.
Because the CEO of Comcast is a buddy of Obama’s. He visited him on Martha’s Vinyard.
Sharpton (I’m convinced) was put in place there by Obama to fuel the race baiting.
WHI tipped us that the ‘race’ issue would be HUGE for his re-election. This is all coordinated.
Another Chrissy Fit.
Chicago
Chris Matthews isn’t sane.
Haha Anthony you rock.
Careful when you talk about how Chrissy loves Barack. His love makes Chrissy’s leg tingle, remember?
I would have asked him if he ever learned to move the dishes before peeing in the kitchen sink.
Hey, MSDNC-
Ready for Knockout King?
AWWWWWW, Po Baby had a” Chrissyfit”!
Matthews is starting to realize that his true love, Obama, is going to lose the election and its driving him nuts.
They can't fire him. He fills their transgender quota.
One day soon matthews will lose it and punch someone....then he’ll buy them a house and finance a college education or two at the settlement hearing.
This must be from the democratic “code” book.
The day is coming when someone that doesnt take kindly to that kind of talk in mixed company is going to blacken both his eyes. Its coming.
YESSIR.
Golf. :)
Matthews said, describing his exchange with the men as towel-snapping among guys.
Definitely.
Exec at NBC parent company Comcast raises $1.2 million for Obama

A Washington Post story by Perry Bacon Jr. and Cecilia Kang reports $1.2 million was raised for President Barack Obamas reelection campaign at the home of Comcasts Executive Vice President David L. Cohen. MSNBC is a unit of Comcasts NBC Universal.
Campaign officials said about 800 people, each giving at least $100, attended the first event, at a Hyatt hotel, Bacon and Kang wrote. Later in the evening, Comcasts executive vice president, David L. Cohen, hosted about 120 people in his home for a dinner, each of the attendees giving at least $10,000 for Obamas reelection campaign.
The story also pointed out that Cohen had successfully shepherded the regulatory review of Comcasts merger with NBC Universal earlier this year.
The timing is curious because on Thursday, White House press secretary Jay Carney directly intervened on the presidents behalf with MSNBC management after Time magazine editor-at-large Mark Halperin called Obama a dick while appearing on the network. That intervention is believed to have led to the immediate indefinite suspension of Halperin.
Larry Sinclair is going to be VERY jealous!
The Dems are losing it. They know Oloser is going to gone soon. Wait till after the election. Stock up on ammo.
Matthews said he told the rowdy group, Whats this, a douchebag convention?
They know Oloser is going to BE gone soon (and on his way back to Chicago).
Comcast Employees Top Donors to Obama
ABC News’ Devin Dwyer (@devindwyer) reports:
Employees of media giant Comcast have contributed more money to President Obamas reelection bid than employees from any other organization, according to a new analysis of Federal Election Commission data by the Center for Responsive Politics.
Comcast employees contributed nearly $80,000 directly to Obama for America and roughly $200,000 to the Obama Victory Fund, a joint account benefitting both the Obama campaign and Democratic National Committee, through the first half of 2011 records show.
Comcast, the nations largest video and internet services provider, is the parent company of NBCUniversal, which owns broadcast networks NBC and Telemundo among other assets.
President Obama has recently spent time with top Comcast executives, attending an intimate fundraiser at the home of Comcast executive vice president David Cohen in Philadelphia in June and a private social reception at the Marthas Vineyard estate of Comcast CEO Brian Roberts earlier this week.
Nunziato should get Delegate of the Year. Brilliant comeback.
Damn, I ain't that civil.
He will be institutionalized at some point, although it might be done quietly. Once upon a time he struck me as a reasonably amicable lefty, but he has become an addled viper.
“That confirms it; he’s queer.”
He does seem like a more feminine Eleanor Clift.

Fortunately, I can name only four of those barking moonbats...well maybe five.
I think that speaks well for me.
