Obama: Republican voters ‘often agree with me’
The Daily Caller ^ | August 31, 2012 | Nicholas Ballasy

President Barack Obama said Republican voters “often agree with me,” insisting that his “approach” at governing has been “consistent” from the start of his term.

Obama added that he has proposed policies which “used to be embraced” by the Republican Party.

Obama was asked, “So how are you going to talk to Republicans differently if you are reelected?”

“Republican voters, if you ask them about my particular policy positions, often agree with me. So there’s a difference between Republicans in Washington and Republican and Republican-leaning voters around the country,” Obama said in a Parade Magazine reader question-and-answer session published on Friday.

“I think that after this election, we’ll be in a position to once again reach out to Republicans and say that the American people have rendered a judgment, and the positions we’re taking are well within what used to be considered bipartisan centrist approaches.”

The President of the company I work for is surrounded by the other executives and his precious marketing staff. No one - and I mean NO ONE - gets to talk to him unless it's through them. When I did a project for the marketing staff I was alone with the President for an afternoon and we exchanged pleasantries. Soon enough, he asked a few questions about the other departments and I answered him, honestly. Shortly thereafter I experienced the wrath of the marketing director for telling the President the truth. I also got an promotion from the President.

My point is, Obama is surrounded by 'YES' people. He doesn't know whether to wind his ass or scratch his watch unless one of the 'yes' people tells him how to do it. When he makes these statements, he's repeating what's been told to him.

Obama does indeed seem more like “Resident in Chief” instead of President of the United States of America. They should have Margaret Cho or whoever that robot woman is on that show Big Brother give the election a Big Brother feel since Obama is not a real president. They could see if he stays as Head of Houshold, and ask America if they are voting to “evict”.

Yeah he envisioned the socialistic ways and the “Dreams of His Father” as the way to “transform” America, and finally make Michelle Obama for the first time in being proud of being an American instead of all the shame she had living in this country as an American before she got into the White House.

Republican voters “often agree with me,”

Yes! I like ice cream, too. I don't eat it like president wierdo does, though.

But the real question is, “How often do CONSERVATIVE voters agree with him?”

One big problem with Obama is that he is too much of a narcissist and to rigid in his narrow ideological world view to actually learn and grow. It's as if he quit developing right after finishing sociology 101 in college, and he's constantly trying to fit the world into the ideological box he's carried around since then.

“If the Russians had hired someone to take us down from within they couldn’t have found a better candidate and this is just annother line from their script.”

Our Russian spy capture/release program doesn’t dispel this at all.

I can’t think of anything that I agree with him on except when he said if he didn’t fix the economy he’d be a one term president.

It is unforgiveable what he and the media has done to this country. It is not the same country since Hurricane Obama came to power

Heck for the entire second term of bush 2, especially the 2 years before obama was elected the dems literally talked this economy into the crapper.

At the time I remember saying "they are going to talk this economy into the crapper just to regain power and when they do god help us becuase they have no idea how to fix it once they break it"

They just don't understand that real life is not an exercise in academic utopia.

The only believable statement he's ever made:
"I've talked to a lot of people who worked for Obama at the grassroots level. One of them said to me, 'Never again. I will never be fooled again by a politician...You know, a one-term president with some balls who actually got stuff done would have been, in the long run of the country, much better."

Oh wait, that was Matt Damon...

I’m sure he must be confusing the Republicans in Washington, (GOPe), with the Republican voters in the states. Otherwise he is completely delusional.

I agree with BH0, every time I hear his line from the 2008 campaign “if I don’t get the economy working I should not be re-elected.” (paraphrase)

Billy,

Obama was groomed from youth to take down this country. He is the Left’s true Manchurian candidate. Why do you think there was the move to get him to run after only 300 days in the senate? His entire anti-American attitude was fostered and fertilized by this grandparents and Frank Marshall Davis. And as a young, though probably not registered, communist, bh0 had the party’s full support and that of all its “progressive” members.
