Nah, he’s a professional scoffer (see the use of that word in the Old Testament Scriptures) — it’s similar to being a jerk, is more studied than being a jerk because professional scoffers are deliberately offensive toward Christian (and sometimes Jewish) culture, piety and morality, while jerks are just offensive at random.
