Push them over the top Sarah!
Then we hold their feet to the fire, replace the tired leadership with real Conservatives.
Best of luck with that (truly!). But color me skeptical about the results.
If Romney wins, the first object that he moves into the White House will be a giant economy-size box of asbestos socks.
Yes, in the short term we're probably better off with Romney than another four years of Obama. But the damage to the conservative movement will be unfortunate. In Mitt Romney I see a clone and extension of his father, George Romney, who as Governor of Michigan vastly expanded the size of state government, imposed liberal measures, designed the state's first income tax, and most telling at the national level, George fought tooth and nail against conservatives, most notably Barry Goldwater. Read up on George, then compare Mitt's liberal record in Massachusetts, and the picture for America is not very pretty.
I was around when George was active in politics (mainly the 60's) and I remember. Mitt is "like deja vu all over again" as they say.
"Feet to the fire"? Like Roy Scheider said in Jaws: "You're gonna need a bigger fire."
