Not much of a bounce yet, but that could still change.

We need it to keep growing and then for the Democrats to get only a miniscule bounce from theirs.

2008 IPSOS was right on the money: O-53 Mc-46

Rasmussen: O-52 Mc-46, understating Obama 1, McCain on the money

Gallup: O-55 Mc44, overstating Obama by 2, and understating McCain by 2

If Obama does not get a bounce after the DNC Convention this week then there is 100 percent chance he is going to lose. I think we will have a better picture next week. Romney also has to hit it out of the park during the debates.

I wonder what type of bounce Eva Longoria is going to give the Dems. I am furious that she is speaking. She is popular among everyone. It is scary.

Any DNC bounce will quickly be neutralized by the Romney/Ryan media blitz. Now that he is the official nominee, Romney is now free to spend the enormous horde of campaign money he has been building up for the past several months (he has out-raised Obama by a wide margin). I don't think many people realize what is coming and just how much energy Romney and Ryan are going to generate on the campaign trail over those last 8 weeks.

Once the DNC is over, Romney/Ryan will be unleashed and it will be fun to watch.

Weak or no bounce. Mitt was up 3-4 in previous ras polls. Seems the disinformation campaign and the constant drumbeat of negativity towards the GOP by the msm is effective. We are at war with the msm.

I hope you are right. I am just afraid that Romney is a “Obama is a nice guy” type that McCain was. He went after the conservatives pretty good during the primary so if he believes that Obama is a conservative, that might be the best option...lol.

We all know that. Not my freaking point. He was up 3-4 in other ras polls way before the convention. Now we are applauding a mere 3 or 2 pt lead??? Because he was down just before the convention for one week??? Wake up.

The proverbial “dead cat bounce” from a convention nobody was watching... Romney’s toast. Now it’ll be all Obama all the time.

Not much of a bounce. We’ll see how Obummer does next week. If he gets a bounce, we’re in an uphill battle.

6 points is a big bounce. But we may see it continue to trend upward as the Dems spew hate, lies and half truths.

Ras has had Romney UP and DOWN before this ...so what? The FREAKIN’ POINT the last couple of polls before the election Romney was down two now he’s up by four. Six points is a decent bounce.

Celebrate all you want. Dance a jig. I find it disturbing that after he names Ryan and has a convention he is up by the same amount from a month or two ago. And the Dnc and the msm will be enjoying a week long love fest next week. Make no mistake, the press still owns the largest stick and couple that with where more people get their current events like late night talk show comedy hosts, bet, MTV, and the comedy channel and we better start realizing we are in the sub-dog position. Even our own party wants to minimize and toss aside the tea party and conservative bases. Wake up.

Their whole convention is about abortion and gays then Obama talks Thursday night....and....drums roll......the August unemployment numbers come out 1st thing Friday morning. The numbers are going to suck. This thing will bounce and smell like a dead cat.

The ‘snapshot’ the day after the election was Obama 52 McCain 46, but the final tally was obama 52.9, McCain 45.7

Rasmussen: O-52, Mc-46, understated Obama by 0.9

IPSOS: O-53, Mc-46, overstated Obama by 0.1

IPSOS, in a photo fiish, won by a nose!

Gallup: O-55, Mc-44, Overstating obama by 2.1 and undrstating McCain by 1.7
