Barack Obama is fond of insisting that he "has Israel's back." Maybe he should mention that to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs.
In remarks to journalists in London quoted by the Guardian, General Martin Dempsey warned that any Israeli attack on Iran would "clearly delay but probably not destroy Iran's nuclear programs." He also said economic sanctions on Iran were having an effect and needed more time to work, but that the good they were doing "could be undone if [Iran] was attacked prematurely."

Israel attacking Iran prior to our election would be a huge mistake. First of all, Israel would not get a full force commitment by the U.S. during a strike (and possibly resistance from the U.S.). Secondly, 0bama could gain in his re-election bid which would be disastrous in the long term for Israel.

When Israel takes out Iran’s nuclear facilities, it won’t be carried live by the media.
And, afterwards, Iran is unlikely to make a major public announcement of what happened, just as Iraq and Syria didn’t when THEIR nuclear sites were attacked by Israel. Why call attention to such embarrassing setbacks?
And Israel will not announce its successful operation, because Israelis are adults; they don’t do ‘’Mission Accomplished!’’
Several days after the operation, the news will leak out. But if it happens while Obama is in office, don’t expect the MSM to carry it widely, because it will be an embarrassment for Obama, and our anti-Israel MSM does not want to dwell on good news for Israel.
For all we know, Iran’s nuclear sites have already been hit by now.
But I gladly accept your word(s) to the wise.

At any rate, the House of Saud wants Iran gone. The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is normalizing relations with Iran. So Islam itself is split.
There was also a good reason the Israelis were celebrating the attacks on us on 11 SEP 2001. Jews are not universally our friends, or hadn’t you noticed how many of the people causing our nation problems are jewish? Many of them hold dual American-Israeli citizenship. Had you not noticed how many people in Obama’s administration are jews? Had you not noticed how much of the MSM is owned and controlled by jews? Had you not noticed how much of Hollywood, Wall Street, and the “too big to fail” financial institutions are run by jews? Had you not noticed how the Federal Reserve is run by jews? Had you not noticed that the largest lobby in American politics is AIPAC? Had you not noticed that jewish organizations are at the forefront in the fight to open our borders and grant citizenship universally to anyone? Barbara Spectre is pleased that you did not notice. Regarding Israel as a state, apartheid was “bad” in South Africa, but it is “good” in Israel. How’s that, again? Have you actually read any of the history of the founding of Israel? Thanks to the internet, we can now read those documents. I especially like the one wherein the author specifically states how they stole land from the Palestinians. Most Orthodox jews will tell you Israel should not exist as a state at all.
