Meanwhile, Lordstown Mayor Arno Hill, a Republican, is at the UAW Local 1714 hall for the Biden rally even though he supports Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
"I am showing respect for the office of vice president," Hill said. "How can the mayor ignore the vice president when he is in my town? If there was a little more civility, the world would be a better place.
"But I think it is going to get nasty," he added.

He never said that you lying sack of crap!
Joe answer this question.
If the plant was closed by Bush in 2008 what was O doing there talking about keeping it open for 100 years......
The implied promise is what Ryan , and I , find very two faced.
I am glad I did not go on my annual labor day trip back home.
The thought of Biden 3 blocks from my childhood home sickens me.
Well he sure aint at the speed barn!
And the FACT is that Obama did screw 20,000 Delphi workers out of their pensions.
Bidens good ol boy act aint working for most folks in the valley.
You never know in Mahoning valley.
I like the name of that paper “The Vindicator”, very good.
Is is some old paper, maybe going back to abolitionist days?
I’d like to think so. Maybe if I ever start a newspaper I’ll call it that. I really like it.
It is a very old paper.
Too bad it’s a leftwing rag.
I always preferred the Cleveland Plain Dealer, and it’s a leftwing rag too!
I’m glad to hear that, most people don’t know how kooky he is, like we do........lol.
Of course that is the Youngstown Vindicator, not The Youngsrown Vindicator.
The only way Biden can get a crowd is to drop in on one that is there for something else. Word is out that his comedy act isn’t very funny.
He makes me laugh, but it aint because he is witty.
“the Cleveland Plain Dealer”
That too is a great newspaper name, maybe the greatest, now that I think about it. Because it’s sort of a pun on the word “plain”.
How about the Toledo Blade, how did that get it’s name?
A lot of folks get confused now, for some reason there are a lot of homo newspapers that call themselves “The Blade”. I guess those come from “gay blade”, but I might be wrong about that.
Too bad for that great old paper, everyone thinks they are gay.
I know the newspapers are dying, I’m helping them die and I’m hoping some of them die (NY Times, this means you). But another part of me has always loved them. I’ll comfort myself with thinking it’s their leftism that’s killing them, even though I know it’s mostly technology.
All great newspaper names.
At least Biden didn’t ask the 8 year old to get up and show him some of his football moves.
