CHARLOTTE, N.C. Unlike at the Republican convention, there will be no dissenting votes at the Democratic convention.
President Obama is slated to receive the vote of every single credentialed delegate attending the Democratic convention, party officials say.
The vote will be "unanimous," DNC communications director Brad Woodhouse confirmed in an email.

After the roll call, the first one to stop clapping will be escorted out never to be seen again ;)
Third World Banana Republic.
Dictators always get 100% of the vote.
[ A federal court last week rejected John Wolfe Jr.’s lawsuit asking for 19 out of Arkansas’ 55 delegates. Similarly, state parties have rejected attempts by other candidates to obtain delegates citing procedural errors by amateur candidates. ]
Well,, I guess that explains it.
Is that legal?
Yeah Democrats. Go with the ‘known evil’.
The USSR had “election” also
Stalin always won with something like 98%...
Obama just topped Stalin.
Are there really no pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment, pro-business and church going democrats...?
The vote will be “unanimous,”
Yes, and all of the demons in Hell are unanimous in following Satan.
I was thinking more of Stalinist Russia...
yep. unanimous.
...just like it will be in 2016, for the Republican candidate... if the new rules stand.
once declared the official dem nominee the Secretaries of each state can begin requesting the obozo's proof of eligibility. If they accept what the dem party submits without questioning the validity of the proven forged birth certificate, each state secretary can and should be charged for complicity in the obozo's fraud and cover up. Congress could shut the obozo prez run down with this single requirement. If the obozo remains on the dem ticket, there leaves no doubt in it's current state this country is beyond revival.
Unanimous!!?? Wow! That’s even better than Uncle Joe used to do, most elections.
Certainly there are a handful of democrats subject to each of those qualifiers, but vanishingly small numbers who are subject to them all.
Convention vote expected to be unanimous for ObamaPotential or actual dissent will be dealt with expeditiously
Getting through the labyrinth of procedures and rules requires having a professional campaign manager. Professional campaign managers can't afford to be blacklisted from future work by antagonizing their party's leadership.
What's needed for a TEA Party takeover of the Repubs, is a professional organization that would parallel the RNC, and facilitate campaigns by the conservative opposition.
This would be a niche for Sarah Palin, if she really wanted to become a player.
Who's disenfranchised now?
