Hey Mitt! Time to Dump Rove
World Net Daily ^ | 9-2-12 | Joseph Farah

Posted on 09/03/2012 2:03:49 PM PDT by taraytarah

As the Democratic Party convention gets under way, the public focus should rightly be on the bankrupt philosophy, the stench of corruption and the atmosphere of failure that pervades the political organization headed by Barack Obama.

But something is blocking a clear view right now – and it’s not a slip of the tongue by Missouri Republican Senate candidate Todd Akin, who once again leads his Democratic opponent, Claire McCaskill, in the polls.

It's the person who, more than anyone else, tried to demonize and vilify Akin for that slip of the tongue. No, I’m not talking about Rachel Maddow or Arianna Huffington. I’m talking about Republican political consultant Karl Rove, who was so quick out of the box to announce publicly that his super PAC, supported to the tune of more than $100 million by Republican donors seeking to win back the U.S. Senate, would withhold all support to the media-beleaguered Akin.

It’s now Rove who is hurting his party, not Akin...

Rove is an independent consultant with his own PAC who has been hired by the networks. I’m not sure Mitt’s campaign nor the RNC have hired him back in a few years.

It’d be great for him to dump on Rove; but, although I’ll certainly be voting for Mitt, I don’t expect him to be paddlin’ upstream against the GOP elite.

As I have stated in a vanity post, my thoughts and prayers to Akin and the conservatives in Missouri, and I hope we all continue with the positive support. If anything, Missourians need to be reminded that McCaskill is for Obamacare and of her voting record; which is far worse than Akin’s gaff.

This is the “genius” who trashed Christine O’Donnell, Sharon Angle, Nikki Haley and now Akin. He has little or no use for Conservatives or the TEA Party.

So why is he still around? I tuned him out long time ago. Won’t watch or listen.

Bush nearly lost the 2000 election to Al Gore – a national joke. And Bush squeaked out victory again against John Kerry in 2004 thanks to the effort of the righteous Swiftboat campaign Rove derided and publicly condemned.

Karl Rove, the king of the swing voter, who can turn any sure victory into a squeaker -- and than take credit for the win.

Rove showed absolute hypocrisy in countering an odd remark with an incredibly malicious one.

I think Farah's objective of shifting the focus from Akin, back to the one attempting to upset the applecart is wise. That's really all the article has to do....solidify a shift in focus.

The article simply states:

"Hey Mitt! Time to Dump Rove"

Rove is a dipstick. The man personally destroyed President Bush's legacy. He's been wrong so often that it's difficult to see why anyone would want this mediocre, beltway marinated Republican relic to help them win anything but local dog catcher position. This is a new age in politics, where the "nice guy" who refuses to fight fire with fire is guaranteed to lose. This is mostly true due to the fact that modern day Americans have been weened on something other than "niceness"; sad to say. There is a way to fight back against scumbags like the Obama and his ilk. You do it with wit, which cuts right to the bone but isn't as nasty or rancorous.

FOR EXAMPLE: I just read that Obama is going to have some former Bain Capital employees speak at the Democrat convention. Of course they'll shred Mitt Romney, even though they likely will not have been employees that rose high enough in the ranks to actually understand business and how it works. Romney's reply should be:

"We refused to do something similar at the Republican Convention because our morals and values would not allow it. But it was impossible anyway, because Mr. Obama never owned or ran a business, which is why our economy is in the state of shambles it's in today. So we decided to just let former Obama supporters express their dismay at the voting booths. That's the American way. Paying or recruiting embittered, judgemental people to assassinate a man's character may be the Obama way of life, but it's not the American way.

The American political process has been the most peaceful, fair and effective process the world has even known. Allowing people to peacefully choose their leaders and express their opinions in the privacy of a voting booth, beeing freed from the divisiveness of personal vendetta and the pathway to political violence has always been the American way. Our Founding Fathers well understood the combustable politics of the Obama way, and did their best to permanently eliminate it from politics in that blessed masterpiece they assembled called the United States Constitution"...........

Mr. Obama thinks of the Constitution as a toy to play with, and something to interpret to his own personal aims. He thinks of America as a piece of clay for him to mold and shape into his own imcompetent, disjointed image. And he will sink to any low to acheive his way. The American people will not, must not allow this man another chance to destroy American by molding it into his own narcissistic, god-like self image.

My thoughts exactly; (and said it then). . .and still holds. It is beyond believeable; given the 'who/what' we are challening not to mention the most corrupt/treasonous Prez EVER. . . to claim progress as we eek along about 2% ahead of this four year (we hope not more) disaster. Obama should have been tasting the dust; before our Campaign even took off. Unfreakingbelieveable. . .

And no small thanks, to Karl Rove. . .

“Rove isn’t part of the Romney campaign. He has his own PAC and does what he wants.”

He has raised a lot of money, presumably to spend supporting Romney and other GOP candidates.

The donors expect results, and Rove has delivered in the past.

Rove has several personal sources of income.

1. Consultant for hire.
2. Fundraiser.
3. Media personality.

Seems like Sarah Palin’s new career bears similar elements, and she has made pragmatic decisions based on realistic numbers, such as for McCain, Hatch, etc.

That is all Rove is doing, as well. Numbers game.

Its politics. It is what they do.

“Rove isn’t part of the Romney campaign”. Are you serious? Rove and the Bushies are crawling all over that campaign and will run it into the ground at the appropriate time.Rove’s charge under the Bushies,is to advance the interest of the Bush family and stop anyone who will get in Jebbies way. Even if that gives Obama another four years.

MITTEN’S is Rove/Jeb’s employee, not the other way around. The Bushies got behind MITTEN’S in order to stop Palin and, because MITTEN’S was the weakest candidate against Obama. The Bushies don’t want MITTEN’S,or anyone else other than Jeb to win the repub Presidency. To insure MITTEN’s would win the nomination, only so they could sink him later on in the general election, the Bushies first got Bachmann,Santorum and Cain, then later on Perry to enter the race. That way, those people would all take votes away from Palin, making it easier for MITTEN’s to win. Then, the Bush’s had the Primary dates moved up in order to not give Palin enough time to organize. When she announced her intention not to run, they then turned their attention to destroying Newt Gingrich, seeing him as the next biggest threat.

To stop Newt, they changed the signature standards on the fly in Virginia,a sure Gingrich win,in order to favor MITTEN’s. Then, after Newt’s landslide victory in South Carolina,Newt would have and should have won the Florida Primary and then flew on to the nomination, but something happened,MITTEN’S won Florida in a landslide instead. MITTEN’S who is a virtual leper in Florida and everywhere else down South, against Newt who is idolized everywhere down South, inexplicably wins a huge victory in a closed (dems can’t crossover and vote) Primary. How? Probably, because the Bushies own the Florida voting apparatus lock, stock and barrell and rigged it! In other words, without the Rove and the Bush’s pulling the strings,MITTEN’S wouldn’t have lasted beyond the February Primary’s. MITTEN’S doesn’t have the apparatus for this.Only Rove/Bush do.

Now MITTEN’S is trapped. Bushbot’s Sununu and Ginsberg have completely taken over his campaign, another Bushie Dan Senor, was rammed down Paul Ryan’s throat as his senior advisor, much like Bushbot Nicolle wallace was forced down Palin’s throat. They are all working under Rove’s destructive guidance and Rove under the Bush families, all working inside the campaign to sink it at the right time. MITTEN’S knows he made his deal with the devil (Rove/Bush) in order to get nominated, but now he knows they are going to give Florida and Virginia to Obama,in order to make sure no one get’s in Jeb’s way. That’s also why Ginsberg and Sununu got the RNC rules changes, that is to create rules on the fly,in order to stop Palin from beating Jeb. It has nothing to do with helping MITTEN’S...Nothing!

Rove/Bush are running MITTEN”S campaign whether MITTEN’S likes it,or not.MITTEN’S owes Rove/Bush everything. The Bush’s got the Primary dates collapsed for MITTEN’S in order to not give Palin enough time to organize. They got the signature standards changed in Virginia,so Newt couldn’t meet them in time, there by taking a sure win away from Gingrich. The Bushies then literally stole and rigged the Florida Primary results for MITTEN’S.making it a virtual certainty that MITTEN’S would win the nomination.MITTEN’S doesn’t have the organization to pull this off. Only Rove/Bush do. MITTEN’S has to keep his mouth shut, because he would not be in the position he is in now, without the Bush families machination’s behind the scene’s and the Bushies chief henchmen,is Karl Rove. Rove’s entire loyalty is to the Bush family. “Independent” my Butt!

Rove Must Go

He’ll destroy the candidacy of ANY non-RINO that he and his big-money, elitist cronies did not hand-pick, even if it means bringing down his own party and assuring that Harry Reid and the Democrats retain control of the United States Senate. He’s played this sick little game for far too long... and that’s why Karl Rove has got to go.

- Sign The Rove Must Go Petition Now -

http://www.rovemustgo.com/

We all know the truth in our hearts, but none of us has dared to give it voice until now. Rove and his cronies had ALREADY MADE the decision to cut-off Congressman Todd Akin’s money, and destroy his candidacy, well before Akin’s unfortunate gaff.

The gaff was only an excuse. In today’s media-drive society, a gaff by a candidate is an eventuality that typically goes unreported and unnoticed.

Rove and his cronies knew it would happen... they were waiting for it... chomping at the bit with baited-breath... so they could make dog-gone well sure that the media reported it, and then use it to justify the sabotage that they were lying-in-wait to commit.

No one is fooled... but Rove’s latest attack is not just an attack on Akin. Make no mistake, it’s primarily an attack against YOU. Rove declared war against conservatives long ago, we just didn’t know it.

Outside of pulling the lever for Rove-chosen candidates, red-blooded conservatives like you and me have no place in Karl Rove’s Universe; and as far as he’s concerned, it’s about time that all of us got used to the idea... we should all just sit down and shut up... and that’s why Karl Rove Must Go.

Sign the Rove Must Go Petition right now. It will only take a few seconds to give Rove a piece of your mind, and tell him to pack his bags. Let Rove know that the American people don’t want him to go away mad... we just want him to go away.

“Karl Rove Has Made Himself Toxic...” -Phyllis Schlafly

Schlafly and other conservative who have called for Rove to go quietly into that goodnight are saying what should have been said long ago. At every turn, Rove has gone out of his way to stick his long knives into the backs of far too many conservatives.

Rove and his deep-pocketed, elite cronies either try to crush conservative candidates in the primaries, or destroy these candidates in the general election when the people have the unmitigated gall to reject his hand-picked RINOs.

He did it to Sharron Angle, allowing Harry Reid to keep his seat and his position as Senate Majority Leader where he routinely blocks efforts to; repeal ObamaCare, put a clamp on our nation’s out-of-control spending and roll back the radical Obama agenda.

He did it to Christine O’Donnell because she had the audacity to beat his hand-picked RINO, former Congressman Mike Castle, in the primary. He did it to Joe Miller, who challenged RINO Senator Lisa Murkowski in Alaska. He’s taken countless pot-shots at Sarah Palin... and so many others.

That’s Rove’s standard operating procedure... his calling card... and he has clearly exposed, in each and every instance, his motives and priorities... he would rather see a Democrat win than a conservative candidate, not of his choosing, succeed.

Long-time conservative activist Phyllis Schlafly said it best: “Rove has made himself toxic....” He has become “an embarrassment” and the American people “don’t want any more of his advice in secret briefings or publicly on Fox News.”

Rove must go. This festering cancer must be purged from the body of the conservative movement, and you can help make that happen by putting your name and comments on the Rove Must Go petition right now.

“Rove And The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) Had Every Intention Of Pulling Akin’s Money And Crushing His Candidacy Well Before That Unfortunate Gaff.” -Anonymous

That’s the statement that came out of the mouth of one of our inside sources in Missouri Republican politics, who for obvious reasons, asked to remain anonymous.

Normally, we wouldn’t print an unattributed comment (even though we hear a lot of them and they are typically spot-on), but in this case, as we said at the beginning of this email, far too many of us, in our hearts, already believe the sentiment expressed in that statement to be true.

Let’s look at what happened... and keep in mind how suspiciously fast everything transpired as events clearly illustrate that the fix was in and why Rove has become toxic and why he must go.

On Sunday, August 19, Akin, in an attempt to yet again defend the pro-life position that he has heroically defended for years without wavering or compromise, tripped over himself and made a statement that sounded unfeeling and chauvinistic.

Gaffs happen... just ask Mitt Romney who once said that he likes “to fire people,” among a long list of other things... just ask Barack Obama who once said there are “57 states” ... just ask Rush Limbaugh who used a very derogatory and inexcusable word to question the “virtue” of a young lady, Sandra Fluke, who wants to force other people to pay for her birth control.

Akin made a mistake, but unlike so many others he didn’t wait to make amends. Later that same day, confirmed by the Associated Press, Akin apologized, but he didn’t apologize quickly enough for Karl Rove, who was ready to pounce and take him out.

Within hours, media reports quoted “anonymous GOP sources” (we wonder who?) who swore that Akin would announce the very next day (Monday) that he was withdrawing from the race... and just to put the icing on the cake, the NRSC and Rove announced that they would pull all the money that had been allocated for Akin’s Senatorial campaign.

Rove probably thought he had forced Akin’s hand, just as he had forced the hands of so many before him.

Even former-Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee noticed that something wasn’t quite right. “There was such a chorus, orchestrated chorus after him, quickly, publicly.” And Huckabee, a man of firm moral character, has urged the Rove and the elites to relent: “Take a spy who has to be brought in from the cold as the old expression goes.”

But Rove won’t relent... and we don’t want him to relent... it’s too late... we want Karl Rove and the Arlen Specter and Olympia Snowe look-a-likes he tries to sneak into office out of the picture... the sooner, the better.

“Rove Instantly Went Ballistic Over Akin’s Unfortunate But Innocent Phraseology. That’s Because He Never Liked Akin And Never Supported Him. He Bet On A Primary Candidate Who Lost To Akin, Who Was Not The Country Club Republican Choice To Take On McCaskill.” -Joseph Farah

But Akin wasn’t going anywhere, so Rove and company applied the full court press. Showing an aggression that is rarely shown against Democrats they all piled on.

They actually gave Akin a deadline, and convinced others to do the same. The elite attack machine started screaming so loud against Akin that you couldn’t even hear a liberal criticism of Akin over the media noise THEY were making.

Trying to sound reasonable and non-vindictive, they peddled the cover story that Akin should withdraw and their egregious actions were justified because “Akin can’t win,” and they pointed to a hastily released quickie poll that showed Akin had lost 10 points to his opponent, Senator Clair McCaskill since making the unfortunate gaff.

But then, a week later, several polls showed that Akin was surviving the ordeal... in spite of the gaff... in spite of the feeding frenzy against him... he was either ahead-of or tied-with Claire McCaskill.

And when the media asked Rove and the Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus if they would relent and support Akin’s campaign, since it was obvious that he COULD WIN.... do you know what they said?

No! Priebus practically yelled at a reporter when he said: “He could be tied,” but “we’re not going to send him a penny,” and the cover story of demanding Akin’s withdrawal from the race because he “couldn’t win,” was proved as false as the make-believe outrage over Akin’s initial gaff.

Have you ever seen Rove and the rest of the elites move so quickly and decisively against a member of the political opposition? Of course not, but then again, Akin committed an unpardonable sin... and it wasn’t the unfortunate gaff... rather, it was his opposition to the RINO philosophy of Rove and the elites.

Rove told Akin that he had to go quietly into that goodnight. Well, now it’s your turn to tell Karl Rove to go quietly into that goodnight.

“We Should Sink Todd Akin. If He’s Found Mysteriously Murdered, Don’t Look For My Whereabouts.” -Karl Rove

And now, Rove and company aren’t even bothering to hide their venom. The hatred is out in the open for all to see. Rove also told the press, “we don’t care who the nominee is, other than get Akin out.”

And Rove added that there are at least “five people who are interested” in replacing Akin; and we’re sure that every single one of them has Karl Rove’s Seal of Approval.

Well, Rove doesn’t have our Seal of Approval. As far as we’re concerned, Rove is the problem and his removal is the solution. It’s time to shun him, and if you agree, you can make that happen by signing the Rove Must Go Petition right now.

Joseph Farah again: “Something is blocking a clear view right now – and it’s not a slip of the tongue by Missouri Republican Senate candidate Todd Akin, who once again leads his Democratic opponent, Claire McCaskill, in the polls. It’s the person who, more than anyone else, tried to demonize and vilify Akin for that slip of the tongue. No, I’m not talking about Rachel Maddow or Arianna Huffington. I’m talking about Republican political consultant Karl Rove... It’s now Rove who is hurting his party, not Akin.”

Referring to Rove’s apology over his “death threat joke” at Akin’s expense, Farah went on to say: “But an apology is hardly enough... it’s time for Rove to take his own advice to Akin and get out of the way.”

No, it’s not enough.

Phyllis Schlafly agrees, but she simply doesn’t want Rove’s exit from politics, she wants the media to get the message too: “Karl Rove has made himself toxic to Republicans... Any candidate or network who hires Rove will now be tarnished... Rove has been calling on Todd Akin to resign, but the one who should resign because he made an embarrassing, malicious and downright stupid remark is Karl Rove.”

William Murray, who heads the Government is Not God (GING) PAC says that Rove’s comment “was so distasteful as to shame the entire Republican Party.”

We possess in this great country, as Abraham Lincoln famously said, a “government of the people, by the people and for the people,” not a government of Karl Rove, by Karl Rove and for Karl Rove; and there’s only one way that Rove and others like him are going to get that message.

Rove, and men like him, are a sickness within the conservative movement and must go. We want Karl Rove gone and you can join us by signing the Rove Must Go Petition right now.

What Rove and his cronies did is a violation of a section in Title 18 USC ~ the criminal code. It's really not up to the victim to say, "naw, ain't gonna' do it" because those are crimes against the people.

Time for a grand jury!
