He was also “Frankie Figs” in “The Whole Nine Yards”, with Bruce Willis, Matthew Perry and Amanda Peet.

Does anyone get the creepy feeling that his oddball girlfriend had something to do with it?
Check the life insurance and/or will....

Yes! The same one...
Well, I guess we know what killed him then. He must have signed the insurance policy not long ago leaving her everything.

Sorry to hear; i enjoyed his work.
I'd hoped he was on the mend after being found in cardiac arrest a few weeks ago. I guess it really was his time to go.

This is very upsetting, he seemed to be a genuinely nice man. Haven’t felt this bad about an actor since John Candy died.

We’ve lost a great actor and great man, and I’m very saddened to see him go at such a young age. I wonder if heart problems were behind his becoming a vegetarian.

The Green Mile is one of my all time favs. Just finished rereading the six part serial by Stephen King.
RIP John Coffey.

Liked him in Aramageddon; his performance in Green Mile was a tour de force.

'Strange coming from Stephen King, who is pretty upfront about his distaste for "Christians".' To be fair to King he is a "believer" BUT he doesn't have much use for Organized religion.
And say what you will there is much evidence to support his position on that. I could tell you lurid stories for every denomination in our town, let alone the stories one sees on the news about sickness and corruption in multiple sects of organized religion.
