When I heard that remark on the local news* I had a thought that would surely bring attention of men in suits if uttered publicly.

He is repulsive and foul. His hubris knows no bounds.

In no universe is piddly tropical storm Isaac comparable to the Cat 5 hurricane that was Katrina.

* Romney was seen for a few seconds on a boat taking the day off. There was a brief remark on Paul Ryan and the rest of the political news was all how great and magnificent Obama is, how we really are better off than 4 years ago and a quick interview with the local DNC chapter to tell us how glorious dear leaders is for bringing us a "sustainable 21st century economy."

The whole thing was maddening.

Did any reporter happen to mention how it was that a US Senator Obama didn't make his first visit to Louisiana until six months after Katrina?

Moreover, Isaac did everyone a favor by lollygagging around in the Gulf for days before making landfall.

Katrina both moved and intensified much more quickly, and the biggest LA’s Dem leadership ignored NHA (and Bush’s) warnings to evacuate.

Bush was in Louisiana FOUR days after Katrina made landfall. It took Barry0 a week to find time.

Obama cannot run for reelection on his accomplishments. He must make others seem lower than him - - it’s all he has left.
