“I read the article as poking fun....”
I wish I could think that was true. Of course, in a way it is, but the general tone is one of acceptance. Just like it is with Biden: there goes old Joe again, LOL.
But let some republican evince a character flaw, or crack some joke....well that person is then either, stupid, evil or crazy.
So I think we have to read this nonsense as being pro-obama. The fact that it is nearly a parody is just something to marvel at, this piece is intended as praise, not satire.

You can read stuff like this in the way "Kremlinologists" used to read Pravda. There's an obvious party line. There are some things they aren't going to ever say.
But if you read the articles carefully they did convey by little nuances who was on the rise and who was going to be purged.
If you read this article between the lines, there's something you could take as comical -- something that you can't help but take as comical.
They aren't against Obama, and they aren't going to say anything to try to really hurt his campaign, but the stuff they bring up isn't very flattering.
Oh, I agree! Kantor released her Bamster book around the same time as Klein and I think I was mixing them up, so I didn’t usemy usual defensive reading skills. :)
