Allen West Falls Behind in Polling
Conservative Strike Force ^ | Sept 4, 2012 | Conservative Strike Force

Posted on 09/04/2012 9:00:35 AM PDT by Westbrook

From Conservative Strike Force's Allen West Web Page https://www.conservativestrikeforce.com/donate/save_allen_west/

The liberals just created a new George Soros-backed Super PAC. Its exclusive goal is to defeat conservative hero Allen West.

This new Super PAC will spend millions and millions of dollars to defeat this one congressman.

Allen West is in trouble and he needs our help!

Please make an urgent donation of $15, $20, $25, $50, $100, $250 or whatever you can afford to help Conservative StrikeForce PAC's emergency campaign to re-elect Allen West.

I disagree. I believe West would have slaughtered Obama. I love West and hope he is our first black president.

People around here are amazingly blind to the realities of what it takes to become president.

West will have to pad his resume for another decade before he will get serious consideration for such a post. He might be the best possible candidate but it is almost impossible for one such as he at the beginning of his political career to win the presidency.

This has nothing to do with MY personal wishes or hopes or yours, just look at our political history.

The greatest failing of The Disaster is because he had a very limited political life but even he had more than West.
Now there is no comparison between The Disaster and West. West is NOT a fraud, not corrupt and is a Natural Born citizen so I would take him over almost anyone but that would not be the case with many voters.

He would have no more “slaughtered” The Disaster than Alan Keyes did.

The districts had to change after the 2010 census.

will you at least pony up the funds when a good conservative is in need????

West has already raised plenty of money this cycle. He is not in need of money. I'm sure local volunteers to help spread the word and GOTV are what he most needs, not donations to this PAC.

Plato called politics “the highest art”. As you said it requires great skill not to mention incredible determination.

West is part of the GOP’s extremely deep bench which will become more evident with time. But he is clearly in no way ready for the top slots.

Answer the question areyou going to support him with money or not???

That’s right ignore the fact that it is IMPERATIVE to hold the House and get the Senate. Why bother to support a conservative because I am so sure that others are.

And we wonder over and over why we lose....

The Democrats didn’t nominate Obama because they thought he was the most electable. If that was their criteria, they’d have nominated Hillary. They took a chance on picking someone who truly stood for their godless, communist values, and they won big, getting almost their entire agenda passed. If we don’t nominate people that represent the same confidence in and commitment to our beliefs, how do we ever expect to defeat the left? If we keep switching the presidency back and forth between the radical left and the mushy middle, then that guarantees the country will remain in a permanent leftward direction...one step left, then standing still, one more step left, now standing still again, then left...

The reality is those “independent” voters are so ignorant, you could get anyone elected with the right ad campaign. So why shouldn’t we try to get the best person possible elected since the swing voters don’t look for actual substance anyway?

Why would GOP Florida state house not want West in Congress and prefer a Democrat instead?

Why is Charlie Crist endorsing Obama? Half the GOP are RINOs who would much prefer a liberal Democrat in office to a conservative Republican.

Because the GOP is not the friend of conservatives, and West is not easily controlled, if he can be controlled at all.

Eisenhower, as General of the Allied Armies, had plenty of executive experience and public exposure. In addition, he built his political resume by acting as President of Columbia University and did not run for President until 1952. This was years after he became a household name.

West has served a term in the House and is just beginning his public service career and is in no way a household name. With continued success and another 4 to 8 yrs of seasoning he might be ready for the big leagues.

Victorious generals are an exception to the professional politicians who have been our Presidents. Hoover and Taft are as well if you want to discuss them.

However, all have had significant time on the public stage.
