The Democratic Party may be getting a fair amount of attention this week — and not only because the political movement is hosting its national convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. Another point of focus has already been the contents — or the lack thereof — present in the 2012 Democratic Party Platform.
Earlier today, we told you that the document fails to mention Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, a proclamation that was previously touted by the party. And now, in an even more shocking revelation, CBN News is reporting that the Democrats have removed mentions of “God” from the document as well.
This is a departure from the past. In 2008, the platform read (emphasis added), “We need a government that stands up for the hopes, values, and interests of working people, and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential.”
The icon picture is an accurate representation of the Dim adoration of the Great Messiah. This is not a picture of the Christ, it is a simple Icon of the Left’s new God.
They can choose to erase G!D which of course is obvious what they're doing. God also has a book, and He can and WILL blot out their name in His book and that is more scary than anything this administration is doing or will do.
Since this is really the last country that has sent missionaries and had freedom of religion there is now no place for those persecuted religions and worshipers of the one true God to run; this is it. The minions have surrounded Israel, the fools( psalm 2, Psalm 14:1) have said now there is no God, therefore because of the fools of our nation(s) because of the foolishness of our government God will give them over to their apostacy, the church of laodecia, the book of Jude, their own social justice( Book of Judges).

We were not happy with that, but it is not just like removing all references to God.

Yes, they are just finally conceding that they don’t even want to appeal to middle America anymore. They think that their little coalition of the disgruntled is strong enough to win elections without those ordinary Joes and Janes that they used to throw a few bones to. We’ll see in November if that bet pays off.
I doubt it will, especially in state and local races.
It is similar, insomuch as it reflects the party leadership nakedly revealing their disconnect with the base of the party, and the American people in general.

Comparing rules changes to God?
The GOP angered the conservative base with their strong arm tactics. Removing God has not angered the RAT base.
No, I’m not comparing the rules changes to God, just comparing what the actions says about the disconnect between both parties’ leadership and the base.
You’re right that the GOP base was angered and the Dems don’t seem riled up, however it can’t be true that none of them are upset, in a country with demographics such as ours. There is probably just no organized opposition to the party leadership like we have with the Conservative and Tea Party groups.
i used to see him a lot when beck was on fox, he was very interesting and i made sure I watched him each time he was on.
I think the party bosses are surprised at how radical their own delegates are.
If Obama quit these people would nominate Hugo Chavez. No wonder the democrats running in competitive races stayed away.
