My daughter and her friend just dropped by for 15 minutes. They are working for Linda McMahon for Senate in CT. They are currently going door to door in my neighborhood.
Yes, they get paid 10 dollars an hour working on the campaign(30 hours a week).They are 18 years old.
I just gave them a pep talk to them on why I am a conservative. I told them not to listen to the racist, homophobe and anti women BS the media tells you about conservatives.
Told them about the Tea Party's that I attended. Very peaceful, but loud on freedom of speech. No litter or stomped on flowers like when the libs have their protests.
As they were leaving, a young man knocked on the door and I let him in and had him come in and sit down on the sofa. Introduced him to the young ladies. The ladies told him who they were represented. He happened to trying to sell me a reduced rate, 3rd party electricity rate. I negotiated a lower rate.
