The DNC is underway in Charlotte, and its message could not be clearer. “You didn’t build that” business of yours, unions built America, and you, dear American, belong to the government. We all do. This video is a clip from a longer piece that was shown on the floor of the DNC today.

We do not belong to the government. The government is responsible to the people. The Constitution guarantees us a republican form of government.
Good grief. I actually had to go to the link and view the video to believe they had really said that.
What a nauseating thing. I don’t belong to the government in any way shape or form. Even the phrase “the government” gives me the creeps, and it should do that to every American.

This is the most honest ad I have ever seen from the DNC.

Ah, but, alas, not everyone in America can make that assertion. (And, yes, though He is Lord, He gives us the freedom to belong to ourselves instead of to Him, which ultimately is what damnation is.)
It’s past time for the Democratic party to rename itself the far more appropriate title of Socialist party.

One would have to be a truly pathetic individual to agree with that statement. No functioning adult should ever agree that “government is the only thing we all belong to”. This puerile worldview will destroy civilization.
I worked with a democrat who desperately wanted to have a child. (She was unmarried.) So, she wanted to get knocked up and have a baby but she was not going to change her work schedule a bit. (She was a flight attendant so would be gone quite a bit.) And then she told me it was the school’s responsibility to teach children self confidence.
I told her she needed to get her tubes tied to dry up her gene pool. But my point is that she was a window to dems way of thinking and it is absolutely terrifying. And against everything good in this world.
