* WIND...SOUTHEAST 25 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 60 MPH ALONG EAST
ANCHORAGE AND THE LOWER HILLSIDE. SOUTHEAST 75 TO 100 MPH
ALONG TURNAGAIN ARM AND THE UPPER HILLSIDE.

* TIMING...WINDS WILL RAPIDLY INCREASE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING
AND THEN PEAK AROUND MIDNIGHT AS A WEATHER FRONT MOVES THROUGH.

I’m on the eastside a couple miles from the mountains. I hate high wind. Glad I don’t live on the hillside. Lots of expensive homes and LOTS of trees up there.
