Krauthammer On Michelle Obama's Speech: "I Didn't Buy A Line Of It" (video)
RealClearPolitics ^ | September 4, 2012 | Ian Schwartz

Charles Krauthammer: Her whole task was to say why. And her answer was, “Why? Because essentially he's a saint.” Because of his upbringing and because of his emotions and because of his humanity. He does of this because he cares. And the brilliance of it is this: It drained Obama of any, either, ideological motivation, or any having to do with self interest or ambition, which I think is sort of a more plausible explanation.

He's a man highly who is liked and highly ideological. A man of the left who sees the role of the government as ordering, the reorderering, of society in a way to make it more just, as he understands it . And also, extremely ambitious. A self made man who makes himself out of nothing, rises out of nowhere. But all of that, in her telling, doesn’t even exist. The only reason he does what he does, he cares about women, he cares about immigrants, he cares about the poor. He cares about the unemployed. He cares, he cares, he cares.

She told the story of a Gandhi. And, you know, looking at the scene, looking at how he's conducted himself in the presidency and particularly in the campaign, with ruthlessness and determination and drive, it’s not quite a plausible story. I’m sure in the arena, it was a plausible story. I saw the tears, but I’m afraid, I thought it was a great speech, but I didn't buy a line of it.

Hilarious when Michelle tried to relate to the working class folks by citing her late father who was employed at a water treatment plant in Chicago. She omitted to indicate that this was a political patronage job doled out to her dad for his work as a Democratic precinct captain.

The platforms don’t mean much but gives the Democrats something to talk about to advance their “war on women” and other “extreme” talking points.

I have to admit I liked it.... but when all is said and done, the future of the country is much more important than whether the President cares about us.

I’m less interested in his sympathy than whether he’s gotten the country turned around. We have a lot of Americans out of work. Now I don’t doubt they have a good family and beautiful kids.

But good intentions are wasted in hard times and to my way of thinking - we definitely cannot afford four more years of Obama’s “good intentions.”

She ripped off Ann Romney’s speech and the twins ripped off Rubio.

The Democrat’s main strategy has been to carve the electorate into “victimized” groups identified along racial, class, gender, and lifestyle lines. But biggest potential source of votes is women (50 percent of the population).

So now, the fate of Western Civilization rests on the outcome of the “Republican War on Women”, with Republicans carrying the stigma of opposing the “right” or women to free contraception, and free abortions, including 15 year olds with no parental consent required. A recently declared enemy of women is the nine month old “fetus”, who as a consequence has been denied the right to complain about getting scissors stuck through his head.

He seems to be clueless about what motivates Obama.

So is Denesh. He makes some really wron conclusions, as do all the detractors. We have better researchers here on FR than these guys use.

[[And her answer was, “Why? Because essentially he’s a saint.” Because of his upbringing and because of his emotions and because of his humanity.]]

Humanity? The ‘humanity’ that is on display as he party’s on America’s diem while America slips into depression? Or while he golfs as Americans lsoe hteir homes and jobs? Or whiekl he and his family spend hundreds of millions of dollars flying all over the world and partying while kids go without enough food? That humanity?

[[That Is really and truly messed up. This is not about him and it is not his place to ‘reorder society’ as he sees fit. Scary stuff.]]

You bet it’s scary stuff- this is the ideology of a narcisistic dictator much like Stalin or hitler-0 but you watch how many americans FAIL to realize just how dangerous this man really is- Hitler came o nthe scene and compeltely changed how his society was run- and whiny o is following right in his footsteps- even goign so far as to appeal to the atheists in thsi coutnry while trampling o nthe relgiosu rights of Christians

[[I knew it was going to be a bunch of lies that were slopped up by the adoring press. She makes me sick how she lies so smoothly. Democrats have this particular evil trait amongs them. Speakers with silver forked tongues.]]

The left are VERY proud of the fact that they can SH@# all over Amner5ica and tell nothign but lies and STILL get peopel to vote for them- they wear their lies like a badge of honor- They strut aroudn like gamecocks with hteir chest stuck out knowing that htey have the FULL support of the main stream media too- they can lie through their teeth and NEVER e held accoutnable for it- but turn right aroudn and FALESLY accuse the right of horrendous thigns and NEVER be called to the carpet for their dispicable LIES by the lamestream media!!!

[[BUT... he said the reason he doesn’t like the DNC speeches is because they talk to you as if you were a little kid who is stupid and has to have everything explained to you]] B

But hte saddest part is that so many peopel DID fall for it and elected him- and they WILL: fall for it again- apparently there are a LOT of peopel that enjoy beign belittled and made to feel stupid by the the left and the left KNOW thsi and exploit it to the full- I will NEVER understand how peopel can be so guillible!

I think one of the Nazis (Goering?) used to have a line where he said when he heard the word democracy, he reached for his gun. I’m starting to think when I hear the words “they care, or he or she cares,” I reach for a gun. When they squawk about how much they care, it usually means they’re going to tax the bejeesus out of you. In short, they’re announcing what great socialists they are.
