In a June 8, 2012 contribution to American Thinker entitled "Did Bill Clinton Deliver a Coded Warning About Obama," this writer showed that there are very good reasons for believing that none other than Mr. Clinton (aka "Big Dog") slyly fingered Obama as both a Communist and a grave threat to what remains of capitalism.
The article also said that powerful Clintonian forces were crystallizing, and that Mr. Obama was going to pay the price for displaying the pomposity, unbridled narcissism, and grandiosity of a political tyro who has had enormous power hand-delivered to his lap.
Obviously, many things have transpired since June. Mr. Clinton himself largely turned invisible, went under, and remained submerged until August, when a much-ballyhooed (by the MSM) ad popped up (discussed momentarily) ostensibly supporting the man known as Obama and featuring a refreshed-looking 42nd president.
Can you believe that on September 3, two days before Mr. Clinton's signature DNC speech, news emerged that Douglas Band, a young (39) and top aide to Mr. Clinton, will be voting for Mr. Romney?
I mean, how uproariously funny is all of this? What a bracing insult to the Empty Chair!
Put that together with the fact, mentioned above, that Mr. Clinton has refused to render unto Caesar the contents of his (Mr. Clinton's) DNC speech, and what we have in the Obama camp is buckets of cold sweat and a sense that it's too late to avoid the trapdoor.

Of course, nobody can be sure, but perhaps we can trace the lineaments. Above all, Mr. Clinton is a transnational progressive who goes lighter on the fascism than Obama. He is therefore sure to send signals on an economic front that he knows more -- much more -- about the global economy than Obama does.
His speech will be a little "green," but older (including more traditional) and wiser than Obama.
He's using all kinds of inside information, of course, so he might drop a technical detail or two about Obama/Davis' national security shortcomings."
Astute readers and those who follow these things will note the funny thing in the above.
Not sure which list this would go to, Nully. Maybe both.
Deacon will NOT hear the rapist speak.
Same here, but you'd at least be interested in hearing about whatever fallout accrues from anything he might say to the DNC audience that turns out to be, for whatever reason, highly detrimental in confounding ways to the reelection chances of Teh Won, I would think.
I'll be watching for the reaction, though not willing to stomach actually hearing the speech.
Clinton is in ads now for O. So I don’t find the article very believable.
I liken it to lifting the lid on the trash container by the street to make sure the garbage man came by. ;-)
Is it possible that Willie C is looking for Ob to pick Hillary Rodham for VP?
Only if Billy KNOWS that The Won has an incurable disease.
Is it possible that Ob is too dumb to know about Arkancide?
I agreed with the analysis of the “endorsement” commercial. The commercial was ambiguous at best.
He had his LAW LICENSE TAKEN AWAY FOR YEARS!!! He LIED TO THE GRAND JURY!!
And he's the BEST they have!!! LOL....pathetic.
The IMPEACHED President won’t do anything crazy, Hillary is going to be running in 2016 or she isn’t.....she can’t go any soomer unless Obama chooses her for VP at some time.....and THAT may happen.
How do you “build” a middle class by making employers and investors the declared enemies of goverment policy?
for mah' wife and the NEXT PRESIDENT OF THESE UNITED STATES.....
HILLARY CLINTON!!!!!!
Sorry Barak i guess I went off script a litle."
The one Clinton ad I heard was him saying Obama will rebuild America from the ground up. I think Clinton knows normal Americans do not want Obama to “rebuild America”. I think Clinton knows exactly what he is doing and he has no intention of helping Obama. Just my two cents.
Correct. And he himself is, by virtue of keeping the content of his speech even from Team Obama, producing "buckets of cold sweat" for the "incumbent."
The premise of the article is that Slick is still quite popular with large segments of the Democrat party and Independents (no, I won't go into their psyche/IQ issues, as that would warrant an article/post in itself), and the possibility of verbal sabotage is not only a titillating subject, it's very much inside the Schrödinger's Cat event horizon, in terms of probability, given what we know of rancor between the Clinton and Obama/Davis camps.
Slick Willie is a MASTER at sticking the knife into the empty chair bag carrier’s back all the while trying to appear innocent.
WHY?
Because Hillary intends to run in 2016, & winning would be much more difficult against an incumbent Romney.
The Clintons know that Obama & Co. have botched any recovery & are utter failures at anything economic. They also know Romney, along with a Pub controlled Congress & Senate, is likely to do much better. If Romney succeeds in improving employment & the economy over 4 years, if things are “looking up” for people, then he is a shoe-in for reelection in 2016, probably destroying HRC’s Presidential aspirations for good.
To the charges that she was part of the Obama team that has so damaged the economy & society, she can rightly say she was mostly out of the country & played no part in Obama economic & social policy. If, as she says, she is leaving State next year, she will be 4 years removed from another failed Obama term.
This is a far better position politically than facing an incumbent Romney in 2016.
It will be interesting if barry gets reselected and Bill ends up spending a lot of time in the WH advising him....
except in that scenario, I think Valerie Jarrett would have to go as part of the deal
Oh no, of course not. He will stick the knife in as silky smooth and slick as can be.
bingo.....

BJ: Heeeerrrrreeeee's Billy! I am still the Big Dog!!! Wooof Woooof!
Gibbs: Presstitutes, look who I brought you! Oooh. I hope he mentions me.
zer0: Dammit. I just knew this would happen. I'll never be the Big Dog. I'm outta here.
That he is. I will watch his speech just to hear him damn Obama with faint praise. Curiously, I can still listen to Clinton and not go ballistic, unlike listening to either Obama.
What are your thoughts about the BJ keynote speech? Do you concur with Mr. Kissner’s analysis?
How many times did we hear, "It's a make or break speech" whenever Clinton was struggling to remain relevant.
Followed by the MSM with their "Wowser-roo boys and girls, he just hit it waaaaaaayyyyyy out of the park! What a speech! What a guy! What's not to love!"
Clinton's speech tonight? One Narcissist praising another Narcissist with fawning, contrived, rooted in fantasy load of BS. Just an empty suit endorsing an empty chair.
——His speech will be a little “green,” but older (including more traditional) and wiser than Obama.——
Over my desk is posted.......
“Age and treachery will overcome youth and skill”
No one is going to see, hear or care about this speech. When the NFL moved opening night to Wednesday to accommodate The One on Thursday, he then gave the time slot opposite the game to Slick.
Don’t tell the MSMerdre.
Totally agree.
The sexual predator even lies in his Obami commercial.
MSMerde is ginning up ratings.
I smile every single time I see that pic. Domo! :)
There is (almost) no scenario where Billary can escape stink-free from such a debacle.
Yes, a brilliant piece of Doublegoodspeak. He hit on nearly every well-researched negative association phrase possible. Negatively associated with Obama.
I think Clinton is all about Clinton and does not give a damn about the usurper. Having said that, I think he’s at peace with having been President, and knows that Hillary’s term as SOS is the end of the Clinton line. This will be the “elder statesman” speech that pimps himself, but only offers token support of 0bama as lip service.
I just love using the words “token” and “lip service” in the same sentence as “0bama.”
Right now Bill Clinton is hitting the marks, saying all the things he must—but behind closed doors I bet he is cutting the legs out from under Obama. My question—Why is Hillary so far away? Why did she reject the VP slot? What does she know that we don’t? I bet Clinton will talk about himself a great deal, say a lot of platitudes about Obama. Blame the Republicans and message problems—I don’t think he will go all out for him. He will look like a ‘Elder Statesman’ but there will be no excitement for Obama. We shall see—I think there is something desperate going on behind the scenes...just a feeling.
Heads up Iowa freepers:
Obamas, Bidens to visit UI Friday
Sept. 7 campaign event scheduled for the Pentacrest

Nonsense, Slick's always got a gun in his pocket -- or he's glad to see her.
Slick Willy will do what is best for Slick Willy. If Zero wins another term, then Slick Willy will take credit for it. If Zero loses, then the Slickster can say that Zero went too far left (if Zero had been more like him with regard to working with Congress, blah, blah blah...)
I clearly remember the Clinton years. Especially the Arkansas years. One thing that people should remember about both Clintons is that they will throw anyone under the bus, yet they themselves never forgive betrayal. There was A LOT of betrayal of the Clintons in 2008 (I enjoyed watching every minute of it). This is where the ‘he would be carrying our bags’ comment came from der Schlick’s frustration...
Zero’s handlers have made a huge mistake getting der Schlick to speak. In typical form he has not submitted his speech for vetting (what are they going to do — threaten him with not allowing him to speak? yeah, right). He will go through the motions of endorsing Obama. Yet here is where the REAL dog whistling will occur: the speech will have all kinds of messages about how successful der Schlick was and he will appeal to people to vote for Zero because Zero wants to do things the way Schlick did... (vomit alert).
If he wants to, Clinton can doom Obama with faint praise and no one should doubt that he will be tempted.
He can talk about ‘progressive ideas’ and the Democrat Party without mentioning Obama very much and people will get the message.
If Clinton had any insight into Obama 4 years ago he would have pulled the pin so Hitlery would get the nod. Bill was clearly outfoxed at every turn. The Soros machine saw to that.
Is it possible that Willie C is looking for Ob to pick Hillary Rodham for VP?
Did you say Arkancide?
The bally-hoo about this planted and carefully-nourished rumor by the Dems is only going to triple by millions the audience viewing the Creep.....including enticing-in those who ordinarily wouldn't be watching the boring and "star"-less convention as it plods its lackluster, juvenile way along.
Leni
Agree
It is all a hype job for ratings
What Clinton will do is brag about himself and Hilary. Then, he will recommend Obama. However, I believe that although he will endorse Obama, it will not be based on the content of his speech. In other words, his endorsement will be disconnected and hollow. His speech will only be self serving to his legacy and Hiliary’s future aspirations.
I still cannot believe the Rats put der Schlickmeister up tonight against the Cowboys-Giants game. I thought we were the stupid party.
