Just an empty suit endorsing an empty chair.

Nonsense, Slick's always got a gun in his pocket -- or he's glad to see her.

Slick Willy will do what is best for Slick Willy. If Zero wins another term, then Slick Willy will take credit for it. If Zero loses, then the Slickster can say that Zero went too far left (if Zero had been more like him with regard to working with Congress, blah, blah blah...)

I clearly remember the Clinton years. Especially the Arkansas years. One thing that people should remember about both Clintons is that they will throw anyone under the bus, yet they themselves never forgive betrayal. There was A LOT of betrayal of the Clintons in 2008 (I enjoyed watching every minute of it). This is where the ‘he would be carrying our bags’ comment came from der Schlick’s frustration...

Zero’s handlers have made a huge mistake getting der Schlick to speak. In typical form he has not submitted his speech for vetting (what are they going to do — threaten him with not allowing him to speak? yeah, right). He will go through the motions of endorsing Obama. Yet here is where the REAL dog whistling will occur: the speech will have all kinds of messages about how successful der Schlick was and he will appeal to people to vote for Zero because Zero wants to do things the way Schlick did... (vomit alert).

If he wants to, Clinton can doom Obama with faint praise and no one should doubt that he will be tempted.

He can talk about ‘progressive ideas’ and the Democrat Party without mentioning Obama very much and people will get the message.

If Clinton had any insight into Obama 4 years ago he would have pulled the pin so Hitlery would get the nod. Bill was clearly outfoxed at every turn. The Soros machine saw to that.

Is it possible that Willie C is looking for Ob to pick Hillary Rodham for VP?

Did you say Arkancide?

The conjecture that Bill Clinton is going to subvert Obama in some subtle or overt way in his speech is absurd.

The bally-hoo about this planted and carefully-nourished rumor by the Dems is only going to triple by millions the audience viewing the Creep.....including enticing-in those who ordinarily wouldn't be watching the boring and "star"-less convention as it plods its lackluster, juvenile way along.

In those ads, Clinton proclaims Obama is the only person who can fix the economy. Anyone who believes Clinton will put the good of the Country before the DNC’s desire to retain power is setting the self up for disappointment.

What Clinton will do is brag about himself and Hilary. Then, he will recommend Obama. However, I believe that although he will endorse Obama, it will not be based on the content of his speech. In other words, his endorsement will be disconnected and hollow. His speech will only be self serving to his legacy and Hiliary’s future aspirations.

I still cannot believe the Rats put der Schlickmeister up tonight against the Cowboys-Giants game. I thought we were the stupid party.

Both parties are trying to out-stupid each other, it’s like neither wants to win. Makes you wonder if they know what’s coming.

I'll be watching for the reaction, though not willing to stomach actually hearing the speech.

What, you've no yearning for a bellyful of Clintonian self-consequence and amour-propre? You aren't feelin' the love for Slick? What a heel/square/human being! (I'm so buying lunch.)

You do realize that Slick is still very much in the running for first President of the World, don't you? -- to expunge the Stain of the Blue Dress, and the brand old Henry Hyde put on him; and that he's now three years behind the curve getting Beast elevated to the Oval Orifice (which he made it), so she can get him the General Secretaryship and execute the treaties that will give him control of the Armed Forces of the United States and real, worldwide power -- the first man ever to wield it -- and some Christians say, begin fulfilling the Book of Revelations, the Liber Apocalypsis Ioannis?

Or so I am told.

I love that photo -- it's an instant classic.

I also love that Obama has done everything he can to drudge old Hildebeast to death, and make her ineluctably ..... old and worn.

I think he was seriously hoping to give her a fatal heart attack like the one that killed Richard (not "Dick") Holbrooke.

Just think of all the inconvenient people who've had heart attacks during Barky's rainbow ride ..... Kam Kamata, Richard Holbrooke, Andrew Breitbart ..... who's next?

Almost makes you start groping around for an updated synonym for "Arkancide" ....

Poifect. The children will be watching the game .... the adults will be watching the knifing. (A-hope-a-hope-a-hope-a-hope-a! )

(Hoping for buckets of blood .....)

This is a far better position politically than facing an incumbent Romney in 2016.

Killjoy. Buzzkill. Wet blanket. ;)

“Because Hillary intends to run in 2016, & winning would be much more difficult against an incumbent Romney.”

More difficult than Hillary winning (against republican TBD) after possible 8 years of Obama?? Slick will have to decide...

You forgot high treason and subornation of espionage, and sale of the national foreign policy. Remember the "three noes" dog-show?

Oh, and "Arkancide" .... although I admit that that has a quaint, 9/10 ring to it now.

Still, multiple counts, enough to make him and Beastie look like the Borgias.

"I still cannot believe the Rats put der Schlickmeister up tonight against the Cowboys-Giants game. I thought we were the stupid party."

Wasn't that game moved from Thursday to Wednesday so that it wouln't conflict with the acceptance speech of Teh Won? It's either Billy Jeff goes up agains the NFL or Barry gets overshadowed on his own night to "shine."

I'll be watching the football, and checking FR and elsewhere for the play-by-play on the speech.

That's the game.

Clinton has to back Obama, but he doesn't have to be enthusiastic about it.

Obama and the party have to ask for Clinton's help, but they don't want to look too needy and aren't going to do him any favors.

It's giving with one hand while withholding or taking with the other.
