11-yr-old pro-life girl brought to tears by pro-abortion activists outside DNC Convention

September 4, 2012 (StandTrue.com) - I want you to meet my friend and fellow abortion abolitionist, 11-year-old Zoe Griffin. In a world when grown adults ignore, deny or just don’t care about the abortion holocaust that has claimed over 55 million of Zoe’s generation, she is willing to take a stand no matter what people think. Zoe joined her mother and friends to lay thousands of roses outside the site of the Democratic convention and pray for the babies, the politicians and this generation.

While Zoe was praying, pro-abortion activists who claim to stand up for women began to belittle and scream at Zoe for her stand for life. What is so sad is that one of the women who did this to Zoe, Sunsara Taylor, is a well know anti-porn activist who claims to be against the degradation of women. I guess just not 11-year-olds who believe that women should not be dehumanized by the abortion industry.

I guess 11-year-old girls aren't "wymyn" enough for the pro-murder crowd.

11 year old girls shouldn't be involved in either side of the debate. Sheesh, let them be kids just a little longer??

I'm tempted to agree... however, if you consider abortion to be murder how can you keep silent and a clear conscience?

Too bad Zoe doesn’t have a black belt and an anger issue.

I love this kid.
The emotions at the core of the pro-life impulse
are the purest emotons any human being could ever
be blessed with, regardless of their
age, regardless of when they “converted” to that position, or otherwise
came to it.
It’s almost a shame it ever had to enter the political arena,
but it has, and we’re stuck all manner of rogues, knaves and fools for enemies.

I agree. While the pro-abortion crowd was nasty to this girl and should not have been, the girl’s parents deserve blame too. They should have expected this by bringing their daughter to a Pro-Life event at the Dem convention. They should have known there was going to be nastiness. No one should use their kids as props in political battles (and no, the little girl did NOT make this decision herself).

Doesn't mean parents need to bring their kids into the mix.

And if the parents are going to bring their once-innocent-minded kids into the mix, don't just stand idly by as another adult brings your kid to tears!

Too many wrongs in this story.

The screamer said “it’s not a baby until it’s born”...

To anyone that says this, I reply “Sure, before it’s born, it’s just as likely to be a wombat, right?”

Almost all kids when they face a death for the first time, whether it's a pet, a family member or Just someone they know, will cry their heart out in the knowledge of how bad it is. It's a simple lesson; Life is good and death is bad.

Doesn't mean parents need to bring their kids into the mix.

That doesn't mean that the kid couldn't have wanted to do it. (ie, the parent may not have intended to "bring the kid into the mix" but rather the kid went into the mix of their own will.) I've known several youngsters with the will & conscience to want to stop abortion.

And if the parents are going to bring their once-innocent-minded kids into the mix, don't just stand idly by as another adult brings your kid to tears!

That is a given, and indeed more indicative of a) horrid parenting, and/or b) that the parent didn't want to go, but the kid.

“It’s a simple lesson; Life is good and death is bad.”

CS Lewis found death unnatural. It was not an original concept in God’s plans.

I agree. Mom should not have involved her daughter in this one.

“THEY ARE NOT THE ONES MAKING ME CRY! YOU ARE! WITH YOUR DARK HEARTS, YOUR DARK MINDS TURNED AGAINST GOD”

Wow, a direct cry of the Holy Spirit...and from a “out of the mouth of babes” 11 year old girl! That little girl is never going to be pro-abort, that’s for sure!

Thats’ real truth...it’s not about politics or women’s rights. It about dark hearts and dark minds turned against God. A million preachers should pick this up and preach with it this sunday...too bad it won’t happen...but I’ll certainly remember this kid!

I agree with your sentiment, but I don’t think the direction of the times will allow such kids to be left out of the fight much longer. I saw a picture of messed up Syrian kids, her age, who thought of nothing but revenge against the alawites that had hurt them and destroyed there families. Our own nation may be facing a blood bath and possible destruction and what of our children? How shall we protect them?

Debate? I’d be willing to bet she doesn’t consider it a debate. She was praying, and prayer, of course, starts as soon as a little child can raise her heart and mind to God.

Cheers to Zoe for standing up for her beliefs. If more of us were willing to put ourselves out there and face down these would-be tyrants, we would once again be a great (and more Christian) nation. God bless Zoe!

True! Good point. Many saints started very young with their holy espousing.
