Democrats strike God and Jerusalem from their convention platform
Examiner ^ | 09/05/2012

The Democrats moved “forward” during their Charlotte convention by removing a key member of their party from its past platforms. There is no room for God in Mr. Obama’s coronation party.

In fact, the Democrats removed any reference to God from their platform as approved by Newark, N.J. Mayor Cory Booker, according to an ABC report.

Gone with God, is Jerusalem, another word not mentioned in the Democrat’s political arrangement. God appeared in the Democrat’s platform verbiage as late as the 2008 convention, where the apparently divisive, in the view of Democrats, phrase “God-given potential” appeared.

The phrase “Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, now and forever” was stricken from the 2012 platform as well as any mention of Jerusalem in the 2012 document. It was a very different platform than 2008 that included the following phraseology:

“Jerusalem is and will remain the capital of Israel. The parties have agreed that Jerusalem is a matter for final status negotiations. It should remain an undivided city accessible to people of all faiths.”

Watch Sen. Dick Durbin Pick a Fight With Fox And Bret Baier For 'Harping On' Removal Of 'God' From DNC

In this video

Notice Durbin NEVER ANSWERS the question : "Why did the DNC remove God from their platform when it was there in the past?" Choosing to attack Brett Baier for "insinuating" that the Democrats are Godless.

Of course, Durbin, like the rest of the 0 campaign, cannot actually answer any questions all they can do is divert and distract hoping no one notices the truth.

No they did not strike God from their platform. They mentioned Obama something like 114 times. Same thing to them.

Anytime the communists take over, the first thing they do is get rid of God. Communism and God are not compatible.

Durbin and Colmes both said that instead of focusing on important issues, Baier and everyone else who had questioned the ‘rats about that decision were wasting their time focusing on trivial ones.

Oh, man... God unimportant? God trivial? Yowch, glad I won’t have to explain to St. Peter someday why I ever said that.

But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 10:33

Revelations Chapter 3

13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

"Progressive" Dems may strike the word "God" from the Party Platform, but the petty and arrogant men and women, whose minds have been informed and caged in by likewise petty and arrogant dead men like Mao, Marx and Lenin, while believing "we are the ones we've been waiting for" and having the "audacity" to declare such nonsense before the entire world--these men and women's ideology will not stand!! Their ideas are not "progressive" at all, but are the same ideas which preceded the "miracle of America," and which prevail in other parts of the world today. They are regressive and failed ideas.

America's Founding generation had a better idea, acknowledging their own reliance on Divine Providence and "the Supreme Judge of the world."

It was an humble idea, by men of superior intellect, study, and wisdom, and that idea resulted in more individual liberty, more opportunity, more "hope," and more plenty for more people for a longer period of time than the world had ever experienced.

If the recurrent declaration being made by Ryan and Romney that life, liberty, and rights are derived from God--not government--and, if enough opinion makers among so-called "conservatives" will expand, amplify and explain the implicit meaning and implications of that essential idea, then a citizen movement can be created which may end the long night of reliance on government which has been imposed by the arrogance of so-called "progressives."

Our Constitution embodied a UNIQUE IDEA. Nothing like it had ever been done before. The power of the idea was in the recognition that people's rights are granted directly by the Creator - not by the state - and that the people, then, and only then, grant rights to government. The concept is so simple, yet so very fundamental and far-reaching.

CREATOR

People

Government

America's founders embraced a previously unheard-of political philosophy which held that people are "...endowed BY THEIR CREATOR with certain unalienable rights.." This was the statement of guiding principle for the new nation, and, as such, had to be translated into a concrete charter for government. The Constitution of The United States of America became that charter.

Other forms of government, past and present, rely on the state as the grantor of human rights. America's founders, however, believed that a government made up of imperfect people exercising power over other people should possess limited powers. Through their Constitution, they wished to "secure the blessings of liberty" for themselves and for posterity by limiting the powers of government. Through it, they delegated to government only those rights they wanted it to have, holding to themselves all powers not delegated by the Constitution. They even provided the means for controlling those powers they had granted to government.

This was the unique American idea. Many problems we face today result from a departure from this basic concept. Gradually, other "ideas" have influenced legislation which has reversed the roles and given government greater and greater power over individuals. Early generations of Americans pledged their lives to the cause of individual freedom and limited government and warned, over and over again, that eternal vigilance would be required to preserve that freedom for posterity.

Footnote: "Our Ageless Constitution," W. David Stedman & La Vaughn G. Lewis, Editors (Asheboro, NC, W. David Stedman Associates, 1987) Part III:  ISBN 0-937047-01-5

Both Candidate Romney and Paul Ryan repeat the idea that America was based on the idea that our rights come "from God, not government." Many former Presidents have expressed the same conviction. That is the sole reason why our "People's Constitution" considered life, liberty and rights to be unalienable by mere human beings. Such an attitude directs acknowledgement, gratitude and allegiance, according to Madison and other Founders, to a "Sovereign ruler of the world," not to a coercive government made up of imperfect human beings.

“The same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe, the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God.” (John F. Kennedy - 1961 Inaugural)

May God's blessings be upon our military who protect and defend us all on behalf of this "Unique Idea" underlying our freedom, as well as to the young and older citizens who rediscover and circulate the ideas of liberty through conversation, print, and the new media.

This is the first time I've seen fuzzy-wuzzy Muzzies at a political convention. Some of these guys look like they're ready to go blow something up, and their abaya-wearing wives make the place look like downtown Tehran or Baghdad.

We've seen khufikentous black guys swanning around in dashikis or dishdasha before, but these guys have the big, bushy beards of Mullah Omar's boys.

How 'bout we invite in some guys from the 1-0-1 or the 82nd Airborne to give these guys a going-over?

Choosing to attack Brett Baier for "insinuating" that the Democrats are Godless.

And after all that rhetoric about "bullying" that was spilling from Durbin the Turban and the rest of the Choom Gang yesterday ..... so Turban goes out and bullies a working journostiff.

The latest from radio news today is that the 'Rat neural plexus cratered and put both God and Jerusalem back in the platform. As "Snake Doctor" would say .... "How 'bout that!"
