My goodness! Y’all had high winds AND tons of rain? Sounds

We might get some rain tonight, but I’m no holding my breath. LOL!

Sorta like politics ain't it?

LOL!! Tis true. Does real time mean Monday night football too? No trying to dodge seeing anything about the score until you get to see it in your prime time?

I can do that.

Good evening, Sarge...((HUGS))...and Bride of...((HUGS))

Nice weather today? We had LOTS of winds, up to 100 mph on the hillside. And LOTS of power outages.

Hope your day went well and you got some rest over the long weekend.

Did you have a safe commute? Not too much traffic? *HUGS*

They knew the costs, but forged ahead....true heroes. Our WWII military men and women were most all heroes. We will always owe them thanks for the victories they fought and died for.

Thanks, Bride. I’m hoping to sleep tonight.

We don’t have hurricane force winds very often, and power outages even less. I ordered a couple more hurricane lamps on Amazon today, along with extra wicks. I’ve tried to find them here before, but could only find lamp oil.

I need to learn the ins and out of generators, and what size we need. We have a small one, but I don’t know the steps for getting it “hooked” into the house for fridge, freezer, computers. If my ship were to come in, I’d look into the kind that kicks in by itself after a certain period of time and powers a bunch of things.
