Skip to comments.Savage: Dems rejection of God 'the turning point'

The Democratic Partys symbolic dismissal of God with the removal and forced return of His name to its platform by party officials amid boos from delegates could be the turning point in the 2012 presidential campaign said talk radio-host Michael Savage.
This is a big moment, Savage told his listeners after describing a remarkable divine encounter he experienced last night that has underscored for him the gravity of the moment.
America is disgusted with this party of atheists and America haters, he said.
At the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte today, the Associated Press noted Democratic officials were embarrassed by the reaction to the partys removal from it platform yesterday of Gods name and of a declaration that Jerusalem is Israels capital.
When officials tried to reinsert the language today through amendments, Chairman Antonio Villaraigosa, the mayor of Los Angeles, had to call for a voice vote three times before ruling because of significant objection. When he ruled that the amendments had been approved, he was met with a chorus of boos from delegates.
The scene at the DNC today was a sharp contrast to Savages experience last night at a Jewish wedding held at a cold, foggy and windy Presidio on San Francisco Bay.
The site of the wedding was next to the graves of thousands of war dead.
Savage said that as he stood behind the area where the ceremony took place, he noticed a small, bronze plaque in the ground that read: In memory of all those who died on D Day.
I looked up and I said to the rabbi, Do you realize that if it wasnt for these men who died on D-Day, none of us would be here today. Wed all be lampshades. Wed be dead.

They are beyond description
Stupidity is being much too kind. It now verifies how misguided and evil they’ve become
It ain’t Grandpa’s Party any more people. Wake up.
I pray he is correct, but my growing fear is that America has reached the point of no return.
The party of Truman and JFK lives no more.
Faith in God really gets in the way when it comes to programing the masses.
Well, the Cubs fans in bleachers began to worship the Cubs, lifting up their arms to sky and bowing down to team on the field. Things quickly began to go downhill, with the Padres winning the next 2 games to tie the series. In the decisive fifth game, a ball went between the legs of the first baseman, setting up the winning rally for the Padres.
God is not mocked. I see that BO and his cronies will lose and there is nothing they can do about it.
Savage truly has a way with words:
The vote Nov. 6, he said, is a choice between those who believe in God and support Israel, despite their many blemishes, and those who support the Islamist head cutters.
The media is blacking out the story. censorship by ommission.
not even on fnc.
The Dems have simply handed R and R the election win.
Drudge has been carrying it.
if a rooster crows three times, does a Democrat deny God or deny Obama?
It has been discussed on fnc. Probably not enough.
I wouldn't be too sure. I called my Dem neighbor to see if they were watching Fox or CNN, both had the story on at the time and they were watching CNN, of course. They are both muckity mucks in the Methodist church and can't stand me because I won't change my church and become a Methodist. I asked what they thought about the Dems now that they have dropped God. I have tested them before by asking, who want to get God off the money? Who took prayer out of school. Who kills babies in the womb? Who wants sodomites to marry? And on and on and on. I've told them about Obama having Muslim dinners in the WH on Ramadan and refusing a National Day of Prayer, his telling ABC News he was a Muslim and Stephanopoulus had to correct him, The Juma, or whatever it was called before the Dem convention and even showed her the school registration that showed his religion as Muslim.
Later she called me and said they put it back in, it must have been overlooked. Just an honest mistake.
I live in Texas so R&R will win here, but there are plenty out there just like them.
If Romney wins, I'm sorry to say it won't be over God or Jerusalem, it will be the sorry job number Friday. If that doesn't do it, there will be one more job number the Friday before the election. I don't see any way to get that number below 8% before November.
Only if the Hufflepuff party has the wit to use the gift the Slytherin party (complete with a He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Middle-Named) gave them...
They'll flat-out lie.
It's not like anyone will call them on it.
Commies in our midst.
I attended the first and third games of that series. The best spectator sports experience of my life.
Have faith...here is the re-mix of Eastwood's GOP speech and his SuperBowl advert...
....a pithy...gut wrenching 2mins and 40 seconds....
Thank you Michael Savage for that powerful recognition of the brave sacrifices made.
