Many, many people who are nonbelievers fall in the lines of the Democrats.”

Many will.

I think Macbain adn her other atheistic followers should make a statement and NOT VOTE in November. Or better yet, start their own 3rd party of Jewhaters.

Note from an deist: While I don't subscribe to nor believe any religion has the correct answers regarding the universe or afterlife, I firmly believe that Christian/Judeo ethics have been the foundation of bettering this rock. I live my life by those ethics.

Ask me how I can while not being a Christian/Jew/Hindu/Buddist...don't bother with Islam. Ask me and I will tell you how a secularist can believe in such values, but not believe in the religion.

They had a similar picture from the RNC over the rules changes there. Both establishments are so sure of the vote ahead of time.

Tolerance for unbelievers! What? The unbelievers have NO tolerance for those who believe in God. We allow unbelievers to work with us, but they actively seek to get believers terminated. Been there and done that already...

I don’t see the mention of God in a general way, e.g., in the Declaration of Independence, Pledge of Allegiance or in political speeches and documents as a coercive establishment of a religion (i.e., breach of the establishment clause). If you don’t believe, you can ignore those bits. Rather I see it as a reasonable accomodation to free exercise (i.e., the free exercise clause) by giving voice to the religious beliefs and sentiments of what is still I believe the majority of the people that the body politic should make some general acknowledgement of God our Creator. I see that as completely different from, say, applying a religious test to public office or some other coercive measure.

"The unbelievers have NO tolerance for those who believe in God."

I am an "unbeliever", but not only have "tolerance" for those who believe in a hands-on god, I fully support those who live by the Golden Rule. Ask me why, although that already explains much of my position.

It's no wonder he back-pedalled a couple of times.

In MY opinion ... the NO's had it

If he had called a fourth vote, I'm convinced whomever had a larynx left would have busted it shouting NO !

The dems are muslim are Godless and they have no one to blame but themselves.

a step backward in tolerance for nonbelievers.

code for acceptance of achievement of self-actualization by means of permissive, subjectivistic, relativistic morality, and alternative and experimental lifestyles.

I think Obama approved the scratching of ‘God’ not because it was considered to be an affront to atheists, but rather because he viewed it as an affront to ‘Allah’.

Sorry, no-can-do. There's a biblical injunction against it:

Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself....Proverbs 26:4
