MIAMI (AP) — Darden Restaurants violated federal labor laws by underpaying thousands of servers across the country at Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Red Lobster and other eateries, according to a lawsuit filed Thursday on behalf of the workers.

The lawsuit filed in Miami federal court seeks to collectively represent current and past employees who worked for Darden from August 2009 to the present. It seeks potentially tens of millions of dollars in back pay and other compensation, plus interest and attorney fees, said lead lawyer David Lichter.

IIRC, the head of Darden is a big supporter of Obamugabe. I know the restaurants have changed the menu choices to please Michelle's opinions of what we should eat.

These guys also run Red Lobster, by the way.

On labor day olive garden fed all the fire stations near a restaurant. They delivered flood and desert for 8 to our shift as a thank you. Quite a surprise for us.

I love Olive Garden and will continue their right to free speech. I went to Chick-Fil-A about 7 times now since the outburst among the dems. I don’t think they are necessary for Obama but are just lowering some of the ingredience in the food that is not considered great. I have not seen a reduction in the amount of food or anything and the food tastes the same.

Apparently allowing Moochelle to ruin their menus was not enough to protect them from the Labor Thugs

They won’t offer french fries with kids’ meals, but they’re more than happy to gyp their servers.

Check out an article by Michelle Malkin. Darden Restaurants got one of those coveted ObamaCare waivers from Bambi:

Moochie's Fry Police

It's farther down on the page under Flashback November 2010.

Since their bosses have come out for Obamugabe, I have avoided them and will continue to avoid them.

Oh I have. We went to Olive Garden the other night and the portion of eggplant on my plate was half what it used to be, the slices were a whooping 2” in diameter. The salad and pasta however were plentiful. I declined a box for the leftover spaghetti and the server boxed it up anyway.
The last four visits to the same location have required as much as a forty minute wait for our food after we were seated. The first time the manager apologized and comped our meal. The second time a different manager wanted me to change my order so he could get it out faster. He was clearly annoyed with me. The last two trips we didn’t seen a manager. We have been upset with them since they took the Pork Milanese off the menu.

Yes he is and since that fact became known we don’t eat at any of these establishments anymore.

Just exercising a portion of my First Amendment rights while I still can.

Unlike Mr. Clarence Otis, Jr, the only share holder I have to answer to for this is my wife.

No comparison to a company owner voicing his own opinion about marriage and a conglomerate buying off the Dems for government favors/kickbacks (Obamacare waiver, for one). Was the GOP offering kickbacks for support of traditional marriage? I didn’t think so.
