HURT: Six things Clinton said at the DNC that undermined Obama
The Washington Times ^ | 9/6/2012 | Charles Hurt

....5) Perhaps the most shocking barb of the night came as Mr. Clinton was lauding Republicans and their convention.

“They looked good, they sounded good,” he said. “They convinced me that they all love their families and their children and were grateful they’d been born in America.”

Really? Giving a speech nominating Mr. Obama to a second term and Mr. Clinton raises the birther card? At the very least, the line highlights persistent questions about Mr. Obama’s patriotism and whether the first lady really is proud of her country yet.

oh yeah, i forgot, and whiny o and the left can accuse romeny of using ‘secret racist code to incite racists within the GOP’ and the media will do NOTHING ABOUT IT- but mind you, if a republican made such assinine accusations, the media would drive that person out of a career and htety wouldn’t stop until they had ruined that person finacially and politicly!!!

Bill Clinton has managed to position himself in a win-win situation. If Obama manages to get re-elected, Clinton will take full credit for “saving” him and use his regained power in the party to get Hillary the nomination in 2016. However, if Obama loses, Clinton still comes out smelling like a rose because he “tried his hardest” to save Obama, but even he could salvage that turd and perhaps nominating Obama at all had been a mistake that the party can rectify by putting Hillary on the ballot in 2016.

Yeah, there was some kind of event involving the Clintons , and Obobo's passport. The Clintons prolly, maybe, found out about Obobo being a foreign exchange student and having a foreign passport!

[[Heck, we’re a few executive orders away from allowing Obama to put anybody, including himself, in office. After all, the Supreme Court isn’t there to protect us from our poor decisions]]

yopu got that right- This arrogant narcisist would tel lthe people ‘we aren’t havign an electio nthis yerar because of the extraordinary circumstances that require a sitting president to serve more years than normal, and if you think it’s unfair, well then bring it to the swupreme court (who as we’ve learned, like you said, aren’t there to ‘protect us against our own poor choices’)

I alsmot puked when his wife stood onstage and tried to bull shit America by telling htem honesty and intergrity were what her husband were all about-

The left has absolutely ZERO shame- they are shameless

Yes, the passport records for Obama, along with Hillary and McCain, were all accessed by employees at a firm that had a contract with the State Dept. The speculation is that Hillary and McCain’s files were just accessed as cover, to lessen the appearance that the breach targeted Obama. The firm that employed the people responsible just happened to be owned by John Brennan, the CIA officer who gave Bill Clinton his daily intelligence briefings while he was President.

Afterwards, Hillary got the Secretary of State job, and Brennan also got a position, as the Chief Counterterrorism Advisor to Obama.

Simply put, no one in the Democratic Party but Bill Clinton is capable of doing what Bill Clinton did last night. He is without rival the most masterful politician in decades.

BS

Yeah this genius caused the GOP in a slaughter to take control of congress in 94

Running as an incumbent in 96 with a booming economy , a fawning MSM, and peace couldn't get 50% against a pathetic Dole and passe Perot

Had all the candidates he stumped for including the Wellstone debacle lose

Couldn't prevent the Chicago boys from stealing the election from Hillary

Please excuse my language, Miss M. Why, I had no idea that there were ladies on this thread! Your unexpected reply has caused me an attack of the embarrassing vapours.

Of course I meant to say "goose crêpe."

I think we are transitioning rapidly to the Cesar Chavez model of governance. I am not terribly optimistic about the opposition’s real chances in the coming election, much less in any later one. The Left has a near stranglehold on the operational nuts and bolts of voting and counting.

“Another four more years of Obama, and the Dems won’t be able to elect a dog catcher for the next 50 years.”

That theory, running both ways, gets tossed around every time one party or another has or expects a big electoral win. Then the ADD voters bring ‘em right back. Only 4 years ago the word was that the GOP was lost in the wilderness for a generation or two.

That’s certainly a possibility. My take is that the Clinton’s want Obama to not just lose, but lose in a landslide. The thinking is that it will reduce Obama to an insignificant figure while simultaneously both ejecting Obama loyalists (Jarret, Axelrod) and chastising the DNC and their constitutients severely. The Democrats would have no recourse but to come grovelling back to the Clintons. In 2016, no one is likely to challenge Hillary and Obama will be a dismal memory.

Assuming Romney stumbled, and the Media will help with that, I see the Clinton’s taking advantage of the historical likelihood that Republican mid-term losses mean they can try to get back some or all of Congress.

The problem with the basic premise about Hillary Clinton’s prospects in 2016 is that she was an old-looking hag even when running in 2008. If she couldn’t beat a jug-eared nitwit like Obama in 2008, she’s not likely to do well in 2016 when she she’ll come across as a tired, worn-out political hack.

Hell, he can even come out and accuse Romeny of ‘hating women, hating old people, hating sick people, hating teachers, hatign nurses, hating doctors, hating pharmiceuticals, hating gays, hating children, and of beign a felon and murderer, and the press dopes ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it!

Quite a rant! They are busted, at least by you!

Dear CottShop, You have made a mistake. I wasn't insulting you. I very much enjoyed your rant and meant that you had cleverly busted the adversary, the media, whom I also terribly despise. Sorry that you took what I said wrong, because you gave a rant against the MSM that I thought was brilliant. Maybe it is the word "rant" you mistook as an insult, which I, for some reason tend to use also in a positive way. I think that you have a way with words. I know that for some reason they are not always spelled right (spelling is not my forte either), but that I could care less about. I am idea person, and don't look at spelling, but at thoughts, and I appreciate the way you think and put together your thoughts, because you know how to make your point in a very strong, interesting and fun way. Praise The LORD, and God bless!

No problem. Don’t let small minded people bother you. Just blow them off. Your thoughts are great, and that’s what matters.
