CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Democratic National Committee chairwoman and congresswoman from Florida, was at ease this morning among a group of Democrats from deep-blue California.
"Let me just tell you how much I appreciate the oasis of Democratic politics that California is," she said at a delegation breakfast on the final day of the Democratic National Convention. "I know that you all feel like you live in heaven."

The nice thing about America is you are free to move to California at anytime. They can use more people to tax.

Live in heaven? My state is about to go bankrupt. The 2nd largest city in the country is a third world hell hole. Illegal aliens are about to get drivers licenses. The Mexican gangs run wild. An over the hill fool is governor.
Give me some advance warning, and a 9.5 is about the best thing that can happen to California. Maybe Upland will become beachfront.

The DNC convention is the biggest clown show and showcase for the whacko disfunctionality of the USA.
It is causing not only dismay among the moderate dems, but hysterical laughter from everyone else who tunes into the Dumb and Dumber circus.
What did they do? Troll the streets after midnight for every weirdo?
My kids went to their first day of (public) school this morning. The middle schooler has classes in portable classrooms that will NEVER be replaced by permanent buildings, apparently because building a permanent building with union labor is prohibitively expensive.
The state government has been redirecting money from the public schools for the last 9 years.
But if you want to look forward to a high speed train to Modesto, stick around.
