Was driving through Boston last night. Romney headquarter lights were all on. They will be on all night tonight.
From what I hear they are staffed 24/7, and the operations office looks like the inside of an airport tower. Several computers monitoring different websites including FreeRepublic for ideas of how to counter the opposition.
They have a Department of Fact Checking next to the computer room wall to wall history books and direct line to Newt Gingrich.
And the battle for America commences in earnest at last. Please, dear God let success be achieved.
When you have an incumbent with as weak a record as this one, negative advertising is the most effective tool. I hope at least half of the Romney war chest is reserved for negative ads most of it for the last 4 weeks before the election. He can intersperse it with positive ads to counter the inevitable argument from the other side that he offers no solutions.
Every ad should be a clip of Obama or Biden saying something stupid (the possibilities are endless), followed by shots of people howling with laughter, followed by a simple message: time to end Amateur Hour and bring in the pros.
He definitely has the stomach for it against fellow Republicans, if he wants to, he can get scorched earth like he did with Gingrich

Ok, I’ll take your word on that. I only saw the scorched earth ads against Gingrich, maybe because I live in Georgia. The ones televised on Florida were over the top..but yes, you are correct, I’m glad they came together..at least outwardly!

Best to echo what people remember as the “give ‘em hell, Harry” campaign. Humor with an edge, relentless campaigning. That’s not really how Truman’s campaign went, but that’s how people remember it, and that’s what counts.
As long as they are bombing maybe they could take out that cat house red couch in the White Hut map room that the Kenyans were lounging on for the Parade photo shots. That thing sets high fashion back a couple decades.

Romney has been holding his fire and hoarding his cash. A counterattack is imminent.
After showing the three tries, with the "no" votes as least as loud as the "ayes," they should show the picture of the teleprompter telling the MC on stage "In the opinion of the chair, the ayes have the 2/3 majority."
It would show the anti-religion, anti-Semitic leanings of the party, and then its hypocrisy and cynicism even towards its own delegates.
A Super Pac needs to run an ad with that, but add Israel and American hating clips from Rev. Wright, Father Phleger, and all the other prominent Dems supporting Obama.
And if people are pleased with what their donation is buying, they’ll send more.

If he is as vicious towards Obama as he was to his primary opponents, he will certainly reach the real nasty mark. He will also need to present something convincing and positive though. A purely negative campaign probably won’t net much for either of these very unlikeable candidates.

I have been saying that for months...Newt MUST be tapped for press secretary.
It’s the gentlemanly thing to do to wait for the conventions to be over before the Blitzkrieg begins. You knew it was going to be inevitable and I hope the onslaught will convince Romney doubters that he won’t leave anything on the field.
All his campaign ahs to do is reveal the truth about the little barry bastard commie. To lefties and progressives (read commies) telling the truth of what they’ve said and done is ‘real nasty’, but turn that around and lying is all the nasty vermin on the left can do. You see, they live on magic thinking, where they think telling the truth about them is lying, therefore lying about their opponents is warranted. Doesn’t ‘fake but accurate’ ring a bell? LOL
