The author spent $250 a night for a Knights Inn that would ordinarily go for maybe $70 a night. The guy was a fool. Sure, hotel prices jumped for the convention, but if he was going to be paying that much, why would he choose a Knights Inn? I’m sure he could have found better accommodations...unless he booked at the last minute.
I would say his problems with this trip are probably of his own making.
What a charming example for our youth........the VP and wifey getting off of the gubmint plane waving their wine bottles in the air.
Sure they are, but America is better than this.

Last week's event was a political convention whereas this week's convention is a religious experience...............
The Democrat Convention reminds me of my youth, (late 40’s, early 50’s)when we would go to the freak shows at the carnival. For my money, the Democrat Convention is the best campaign ad that the Republicans could buy. Where else could you get this many of your opponents to expose their ignorance, poor manners and freakish nature for all to see, in the same building no less?
It is now time for the Republicana to capitalize on this opportunity of a lifetime! They should have enough video footage to make campaign ads forever.
I’m gonna play fair here for a moment. Last week, during the GOP convention, lib websites were full of the same kinds of comments we’re making now about their convention. They nitpicked every little thing, just like we’re doing now. All of that is to be expected, from both sides. But cast aside all the rhetoric and what are we left with? A failing President that can’t hide from his record. We know it AND the libs know it. Right now they’re talking a good game, but inside they’re nervous, very nervous. They know the country isn’t better off now than it was four years ago.

Putting corn in gas tanks drove up food prices while preventing drilling made gas prices rise and shutting down coal fire plants in the name of the environment makes electricity rates rise. Food, gas and utilities are three areas everyone pays, directly or indirectly.
I think you’ve just about nailed it.
To sum it up..we have had a Marxist president bent on destroying America and Israel and this convention is making him into a savior and a hero. He had a direct hand in the housing meltdown, he broke the law with how he handled the auto companies, he passed Obamacare against the will of the American people and it is all because he cares so much! Wow!

Dang. Never thought I’d be able to say something positive about the Charlotte leather and chains freakshow. But if they treated the “credentialed press” this poorly, it couldn’t have been all that bad.
I have not watched a single minute. I can’t and won’t listen to the left.
I wonder if Obama’s recent behavior toward the press will cost him the election? Would we have seen this kind of complaint from the MSM re the DNC when THE ONE was first selected?
When G.W. Bush won a second term, I remember reading an excellent article noting that his victory was all the more impressive because, among other entities listed, George “ran against the MSM.”
When Obama was first selected, the MSM provided continuous “in kind” contributions to his campaign. Endless devoted to his campaign via their broadcasters. But then Obama started getting angry when they weren’t fawning enough and weren’t interrupting regular programming enough etc. And then he started shutting them out. And they started getting angry. So now we have PUBLIC complaints from the MSM. They see themselves as priests and less than fawning attention is his blasphemy.
Yesterday - I was “fall down in shock” stunned to see NBC FACT CHECK DNC info. REALLY. I posted it here.
