I've always been very interested in national politics and watch the conventions. The RNC was the best I've seen in 30+ years of watching. The DNC was an embarrassing lie-fest...but I did find it amusing all the “rah-rah American” hype.

Oh, and Eastwood...Dumb like a fox! I think he drew in a few million for Rubio, then Romney....and they heard Mitt say he would not “heal” the world—but help our families.

Very smart, IMHO.

Mr. O is in for a rude awakening. He and his band of Chi thugs have NOWHERE to go other than a military strike on Iran (not going to happen) or race/class riots...I know I sound cynical...but I will be very surprised if our country's inner cities are not in flames in a few weeks.

I'm not sure how an Iran war would affect the election.

I don't think race/class conflicts are likely on a major scale. Hussein's support of homo marriage has alienated many Black pastors who are influential in the Black community. Hispanics are not historically prone to rioting, and the economic underclass is too drunk, stoned, lazy, disaffected or disoriented to care.

Has the drive-by media abandoned Hussein in an attempt to resurrect their on credibility?

Let's just say that by this point they've started to notice a distinctive stagnant-to-downward trend for the Obama campaign, and they've begun to hedge their bets.

I may have accidentally watch a whole bloody single minute of the DNC live, saw a part of Clintons speech later. But overall I am truly saddened by the amount of quasi-patriotism displayed by the DNC delegates, so many jumping on the bandwagon to nowhere.

So many openly denying God, openly endorsing immoral social groups, accepting cultures such as Islam which by any and all regards are true enemies to America, no matter what they say.

I wish I had a special pair of glasses that would expose who is a democrat, because then I would see out amongst every the weak minded misguided fools amongst us, and I may scuff my boots a bit as well.

I think they are looking at the internals of their polling and thinking “no way we can spin him out of this”.

And this morning’s jobs report indicates no economic miracle is coming to save him either.

They are also looking at the prospects of finding campaign-destroying dirt on a Mormon and thinking that’s not likely to happen either.

At that point I believe Limbaugh’s theory kicks in and the objective becomes saving Liberalism as an institution. Even if that means The One has to cozy up to the bus tires.

Obama was just a shadow of himself last night. He still had the high sounding promises but they were scaled back—he lacked any program or how he would do things leaving us to assume it would be more taxes and Chinese loans. he just didn’t have the old magic. Its really sad, like the aging rock star trying for a come back—Look to see this guy run for other offices once he’s voted out—Look to see Michele divorce him, look to see him come out as Gay. He will try for Governor, lose, then a mayor, lose, etc... He will be building houses with Carter by 2016.

Even the editors of the liberal Charlotte Observer say his speech sucked:

Well, I must say, I hope you are right.

I mentioned bombing Iran and riots to highlight just how little this guy has to pull out of the Chi cess pool political handbag. Bombing something...anything....would lend weight to that “strong on national...whatever...he killed OBL”...

I'm still sticking to the race/class rile up and massive riots. I live in AZ and I can see how a certain segment could be riled up. I also just came back from Detroit/Chi, etc....And, it's already happening there, just on a smaller scale and the MSM won't talk about black on white mob attacks.

The class/OWS thing...well, you are right...they have seemed to fizzle. However, 2 months ago I read that our fav watermelon's (green on the outside, etc) Van Jones is in charge of OWS.

I'm not much of a conspiracy guy, but I see how a very desperate regime plays the only card they have: Community agitating on a big scale. It sounds ridiculous, I know...

But...what is this guy to do? The Romney $$$ machine is about to let go. The debates are coming. The numbers are going to fall. He IS a fraud and the drip, drip, drip of info that was tamped down by the MSM is circulating.

Mr. Obama is a thin skinned little wisp of a man. What's your guess on how he holds on to power?
