Thank you so much for posting this article from Clint's home town newspaper.

It tells the process he went through to create his routine. The confidence he had to go up on stage with three basic ideas to get across and then do it all off the cuff. He is a true master of his craft.

The idea of using the chair came literally just before he went on stage when a stage hand offered him a chair to sit in at the podium. Clint got the idea right there and said no just put it to the side of the podium. He then developed the whole routine while on stage.

It was real. It was spontaneous. It was masterful and based on a lifetime of performing and living.

I wonder if Mittens will ask for it back or just take it back without asking. With a little forensic accounting we will know where it went and we the people should reclaim our money.
