"We're going to be here through the November election, and we're going to be here to win."

Those were the words of Republican Rep. Todd Akin late last month as he vowed to press on with his campaign to unseat Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill in Missouri,

Well, don't look now but Akin appears to have climbed his way back into the race despite the battering he's taken from both sides of the aisle.

-snip-

...Akin clawing his way back within one point of the Missouri Democrat in the (liberal-leaning) PPP survey and into a three-point lead in the (conservative-leaning) Wenzel Strategies poll.

A couple weeks ago there was a LARGE tribe of screeching Freepers who were convinced that Akin could not possibly win and cr@pped on those who thought otherwise.

Where are they now?

Just when the scaredy-cat corner of the conservative heart was desperate for something to run away from, it remembers how to obey the dictates of political correctness manufactured by the leftists.

We don’t expect you anti-freepers to support Akin, but you could just shut up.

I did what I said I’d do and sent Akin money, this morning I got a call from the RNC asking for more money, I told them I sent the money to Akin since they weren’t going to help him.

Trent Lott has always been a disaster.

He is a globalist fool that blocked much of the conservative agenda in the senate.

Akin will do just fine.

“We drove all the way through Missouri from St. Louis to Joplin this past weekend. The billboards we saw and radio stations we heard all really do support Akin.”

Good news. We need to send ObamaCare/ObamaClaire into retirement. Let her spend her golden years sticking pins into a Ronald Reagan voodoo doll and listening to interview reruns of Debbie Blabbermouth Shultz over and over again.

Rasmussen has him at 38% and down by 10. It was from two weeks ago, so maybe there’s been positive movement.

I hope the heck they do...example TN. nana...and all those who trash Mitt...

and heaven forbid we let Akin served in Congress but Jessie Jackson Jr. can stay in congress and keep collecting a pay for NO work..depressed...more than likely drugs...and a cover up...Akin mis spoke as many politicians do, in reagards to rape, and then a former president accused of rape and I feel use it more than like happened, Juanita sounder more creditable than a lot of those in Congress sound.

something is wrong with this picture......
so I say keep on fighting Akin...that is the kind of person we need...his background as a good person says more to me that one quote out of place.

go ahead and flame away...what ever cooks your goose.

Good for you. Akin is on my list for the start of October. I'll be there to help carry him through that month if he makes it that far.

The Freepers who stuck with Aiken are looking pretty good today. Those who wanted to dump him because it might upset the Goebbel’s press are looking like MacCain RINOs.

The Pro-Abort PhonyCons must be having a coronary! Akin was supposed to lose, according to them

Good thing Akin did not listen to the PhonyCons.

If Akin loses, it will definitely be at the expense of the Liberal Pro-Abort PhonyCons who attacked him, and withheld funding

What’s the sample? Can’t be GOP +8 again like the Akin +1 poll taken 2 weeks ago. If it is a real surge, I will be able to deliver some real money to Mr. Akin.

In my heart, I don’t blame the Freepers who were bamboozled about this by the liberal press, Limbaugh and whoever else. I think they truly despise political correctness and their conservatism will triumph in the end.

But when you’re in Limbaugh’s position, or Hannity’s (who knows, maybe even these guys were completely fooled by the institution of political correctness), you should be accountable.

Next time, get it right guys. And when something like this happens, use your voice to pressure the mainstream GOP to go full throttle in support of principled conservatives like Akin.

I had a feeling this might happen. ‘RATS aren’t very popular anymore in “flyover country”. The ‘RAT love affair with sexual deviants has irked the normal, decent Americans.

I’m not anti-freeper, just a difference of opinion on this one... I understand what he was trying to say, I just think this election is too important to risk, but it looks like all may turn out in the end...

Then I hope we can share a laugh at the media’s expense :)
