I’m not sure we should “support” Akin...

No we shouldn't do that. It would be so much better to see all of the senate committees controlled by leftists.

Good. I bashed him as much as anyone. He’s an idiot. But he is our idiot (Cars song “you’re all I got tonight”). I hope he beats the crap out of the liberal.

I told them I sent the money to Akin since they weren't going to help him.

That was awesome!

Greetings haircutter:

As a biased former Steelman supporter, my gut instinct was dump Todd Akin.

Turning point was Golfer-in-Chief Dear Reader missing tee time to hold his first press conference in a goat’s age to bash Akin. Which made me think: So what if Akin said something stupid; who hasn’t? Akin’s voting record is how we ought to judge him.

So if one verbal slip of the tongue is all it takes for GOPe to suddenly announce they’re supporting a baby murdering democRat millionaire; does that mean Mitch McConnell won’t have GOPe support for re-election?

So I’ll send Todd Akin a little more of my lunch money on next payday too. My little pangs of hunger will never match the level of pain an innocent baby feels while mother’s womb remains unsafe from immoral government funded intrusions.

Cheers,
OLA

guess my lunch could be a little lighter as well...

I have not been bashing Akin here at FR as I've learned so many bash the ROMNEY/RYAN ticket @FR and that is really upsetting for this site, that attracted me a long time ago.

My goal is to see the Congress and White House under knowledgeable control and people who love our Nation. I really respect Akin for standing up strong even those of his own party, all I need to do is look at the people Hussein has chosen to work with him..

I agree. Most times everything blows over. There really was no need to do the Dems work for them by piling on. Just talk about something else.

Contributed to Akin yesterday and it felt good. Something I could do that A) Helped a good man B) Will piss off the media.

That is literally Orwellian.

I called and emailed them. The girl that answered the phone was just a staffer that could not give any reason as to why Akin’s name was NOT on the map. It should every other republican candidate in every state minus Akin...giving McCaskill the only recognition and showing her unopposed. A group of us started calling and emailing and the site either crashed or they took it down.
Sen. Cornyn is the head of the committee so I also called his number in Texas..just an answering machine but I left a message. Did you try to access the site? I am laughing because so many of us called ...will they put Akin’s name up? that is the question
