A post convention bounce had to be expected with all of the media saturation and fawning. I’m just hoping it’s a dead cat bounce.

It's meaningless. It isn't even a poll of "registered voters". The sample is "adults".

Put it under "file and forget". Or vice versa...

I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me why that's a good strategy.

According to several pundits, Bambi's likeability numbers exceed Romneys. The theory was to give the independents, who voted for Bambi first time around, no remorse for the error of being duped. It's okay -- he's a nice guy and many were hung up on his message of Hope and Change but we now can clearly see that the 'nice guy' is not qualified to be President and his policies haven't worked.

PAGE NOT FOUND.

And if it’s adults not RV or LV then who cares. That’s a crap poll.

However I do think Obama will get a bounce then quickly drop due to the very bad jobs report.

"Looks like Obummer is going to get a pretty solid bounce."

Think again:

Glad to see ARG’s results, but I do not see them included in the Real Clear Politics average. Romney was up 4 before the Dem convention in Rasmussen’s polling, as of this morning Obama is up 2. That’s a 6 point swing of likely voters in that one poll. Gallup is also showing a very significant bump for Hussein - they’ve got him leading Romney and at 52% approval as of Friday.

It think it is very clear Obama got a noticeable bump where Romney really didn’t get much of anything.

You mean this? Yup... Gallup has been polling for 80 years, and now they are a laughingstock to anyone serious with statistics.

Obama got a DOJ bump out of Gallup, not from the convention...

RCP doesn’t like ARG for some reason. Look at the primaries. ARG did a lot of polls for those, and RCP didn’t use them, even though they were generally as close as anyone. But they persist in using Gallup who is under the thumb of the DOJ. Go figure
