Gallup: Obama's Job Approval Climbs to 52%; Leads Romney 48% to 45% (Barf alert!!!)

President Barack Obama's job approval climbed to 52 percent in the Gallup poll for the three-day period of Sept. 4 through Sept. 6, which is the highest Obama's approval has been since the three-day period ending June 1, 2011, when it hit 53 percent.

On Sept. 3, the day before the Democratic National Convention started, Obama's approval had been just 45%.

At the same time, Obama picked up ground over Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Last week, according to the Gallup tracking poll of the presidential race, Romney actually lost a point over the course of the Republican National Convention. Romney went from leading Obama 47 percent to 46 percent for the seven-day period that ended on on Aug. 27 to trailing Obama 46 percent to 47 percent for the seven-day period that ended on Sept. 3.

Since Sept. 3, Obama has picked up another point in the Gallup poll while Romney has lost one. Thus, for the seven-day period ending on Sept. 6, Obama led Romney 48 percent to 45 percent.

Couldn’t agree more. The R Convention went past me. Bored me senseless for lack of punch and the tom foolery generally. I liked the speech clinic participants okay, but it was meatless on calling a spade a spade, concerning the death throes of a nation. We were left looking harmless, helpless, and maybe even hapless.

“I am not saying we shouldn’t attack Hussein, we should. I am saying we do have to be careful about how we do it. When people have an emotional attachment to someone, they do not like to be told they were wrong. You have to kinda encourage them to come to their own conclusion.”

BS Longbow.
Praise the Lord but pass the ammunition.
Put a dagger in ‘em.
No topic is off limits. Pubbies have to stop being the party of nice. It’s nauseating!!!!!

We should be satisfied with nothing less than relentless attack ads.
Spend that money wisely, Mittens. Don’t waste it on ads about “the economy”. My friend, who inherited from her grandmother, is too stupid to know that The Usurper wants to take it and redistribute it to the shlep that’s living in his mother’s basement. Oh wait, that would be her son.

Our Republic is under siege by the Progressives.
This kind of demon requires an exorcism.

3,050 registered voters

LOL. Any a$$hat still using regisTARD voters is only doing it to game the average for Real Clear Politics, who want to keep a "horse race" average.

RegisTARD voters tends to skew up to +4 RAT that don't vote.

Given that, this is still bad news for Obama.

The government (DOJ) is suing Gallup. Until this is settled, Gallup’s polling results for the presidential race need to be ignored.

Gallup is damaged and afraid. Pity them ... just don’t believe them.

” It’s going to be a fight, but I don’t think Romney/Ryan have any cause to panic over the “bounce.””

Of course not.

But the FR Meltdown Drama queen Squad will have to have their predictable freak out for a few hours before they go to bed.

Man if that freak show A/K/A the DNC convention gave him any positive bounce, I give up on this once great country.

But did the nightly news shows even mention the Israel/God chaos on Wednesday? And did they report how dismal were the jobs report and downward revisions today, or focus more on the "decline" to 8.1% unemployment. The American sheeple have busy lives and pay about 5% as much attention to politics as do we. Whatever Brian/Scott/Dianne tell them in large part determines what they will believe.

A few observations here:

1-This is as others say fairly modest so far as bumps go.
And the candidates speech is not likely to spike it further since it was such a yawner.

2-Romney has a much more automated volunteer effort. And they are organized. Make a passing comment about coming in Tues afternoon and they call you Mon morn to confirm. Mclame was much looser about everything and no ever thanked you for your efforts.

3-See number two...I think the GOTV effort will be top notch for Romney.

4- And this is a big one...I am scared. I remember all of the whistling past the graveyard posts on the polling threads of 2008....Don’t pay attention polls. Polls are in the tank for obama. It’s the Bradley effect. This poll can’t be right. Turns out the polls were right back then. I am the most optimistic person I know...but I do need just a little help to get past this poll. Like I said, it does scare me just a little bit.

Gold standard: Likely voters. Pollsters won’t get serious until their credibility is on the line 1-2 weeks weeks before the election.

I do believe Gallup is registered voters, not likely.

It's not even "registered", it is "adults".
