**SNIP**

On the menu: thousands of pounds of pecan-fried chicken, baked orzo, fresh crudités, three-bean bake, fresh-cut fruit and something called short rib cobbler.

And that’s only a partial list.

**SNIP**

Sixty-five thousand people holding stadium credentials were told they could no longer attend and the Panthers were left with nearly 8,000 pounds of unneeded food.

Panthers spokesman Riley Fields said the more traditional vendor food (chips, hot dogs, burgers) will keep in freezers for upcoming games, but catered items for VIP suites had to be given away.

All Highly perishable food.
In other words, most of the food was wasted.
Nice spin though.

I thought they did away with “already” prepared food to the shelters?

Or is that a state wide thing.

Beat me to it. It would have to be shipped out in refrigerated trucks for the cold stuff and heated racks for the hot stuff and kept at specific temperatures the entire time until it was finally served. No way could they have pulled that off. Most likely the majority ended up in dumpsters and that's where the homeless feasted.

They could have staged a food fight on the football field between the God-fearing and the atheist Democrats, televised it on pay-per-view and used the proceeds to pay for cosmetic surgery for many of the female speakers.

It looked to me as if those delegates had long been on high caloric diets. I am surprised there was any food left over.

These incompetent donkeys can't even properly plan and run a three day convention for 25,000 people.

Is there any question as to why their attempts to run the entire country have almost destroyed us?

Starting with Obama, they are so stupid they don't realize they're stupid. And to top it off, they are arrogant about it. Did you ever meet a hard core liberal who wasn't certain that liberals are all above average in intelligence and ability?

Charles Darwin noted, “Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge.”

No way could they have pulled that off. <<

Don't fool yourself!...

donated to the right government entity for a small tax deduction....it would only cost “the government” 6 million dollars and 300 new government workers to complete the task!....

“Sixty-five thousand people holding stadium credentials ....”

Perhaps it’s true, but I don’t believe it. I think the dems moved because they didn’t believe they could get that many people to show up.

They’re trying to decide whether to blab this, as an indication of how charitable they are, or whether it would show that so few showed up.

Sounds like the team got stuck with the food, but who actually paid for it?

The people who cooked it paid for it. It certainly wasn’t Democrats or Obama. They still owe $15 million for that freak show called a convention.
