How deep are MSNBC and its parent company Comcast in the tank for the Democrats? So deep that even the New York Times [!] has headlined an article "Welcome to the MSNBC, Er, Democratic Convention." [H/t Mediaite]
The article details how MSNBC personalities were treated like rock stars by adoring Dems. Even more telling is this: "Four years ago, there was open anxiety inside MSNBC over having the unabashedly partisan Keith Olbermann anchor convention coverage. But the era of liberal hand-wringing appears to have passed." Translation: in the tank and proud. Comcast's servicing of the Dems doesn't end with adoring coverage. It also translates into cold, hard cash from Comcast execs.

MSNBC personalities treated like rock stars at DNC; parent-company Comcast execs huge Dem donors. Ping to Today show list.
Comcast is short for Communist Cast.
Hey is that a Red Crescent in front of the ‘Comcast”
‘Semper Fi’
Cheers...Chris
I cancelled by cable some time ago. The internet is a much better source for news - and I have my favorite shows on DVD.
Red sickle it is. I like “Commiecast” Quick and true.
The channel is not only a reflection of the Democrats platform, but its also a reflection of Comcast, a company so vile and corrupt that I hope for the sake of its employees and customers that the competition erodes their power and Comcast is forced to change. The talking heads of MSNBC are a window into the mind of Comcast executives, rather than compete and make a profit, they refuse to accept that they are wrong, like their on-air personalities, they firmly believe their bent worldview is honest and true. Comcast micromanages to the extent that they, themselves, are insane, the people who run Comcast are like Hitler in the bunker, the whole company is an upside down pyramid waiting to fall, yet its leaders are convinced by underlings that everything is fine.
The NYT is jealous of the capabilities of more modern mediums.
ARe you kidding? Did anyone watch any of the PBS coverage? It was even more gushing for the dims. And on my tax dollar to boot.
I didn’t know there was a connection between Comcast and MSNBC. I threw away an offer from Comcast just a few minutes ago, unopened. Ha take that Comcast!
I purposely did not opt for Comcast due to political reasons. Screw them.
I didn't either. I have both Internet and cable with Comcast/"Xfinity". Unfortunately, where I am located, the alternatives are worse (service-wise, not political-wise).
But I think this will cause me to keep an eye out for a viable alternative.
