Sounds like a page out of the China book. Complete control from the first shovel hitting the ground.
Obozo has been “helping” Pepe Lobo reorganize his police force. The Lefties who surround Honduras are in payback mode for the support they gave to our Contra Effort years ago.
Honduras was a good friend and ally. They are the target of the drug cartels and their Commie neighbors. Does not look good for them.
I pray that after November the US will again project a stabilizing effect on that part of the world.
I was involved in opposing the Sandanista’s surrogates in NM during that era. (1980’s) I know what a Commie is, I lived around some when I was there. No illusions.
There is only 1 good Commie.
In retrospect, benign dictatorship is too harsh a way to describe Singapore. The only people who get in trouble there are those that every society has, who are the public pests, make it a point of getting in other people’s faces, try to create discord, vandalize, and oppress others.
Most nice places to live do have to keep such people in their place, or they stop being nice places to live. It’s just that Singapore is particularly good at this.
The former president of Singapore, who made this all happen, is comparable in many ways to Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the most popular politician in Arizona, by a huge margin.
Arpaio is also good at keeping the public pests in line, and he gets more than his share of animosity from those who want to tear down, cause ruin, and generally foul up the place. But unless you are a criminal or illegal alien, you have nothing to fear from Arpaio, either.
As far as space goes, can’t be of much help there, because Singapore is a small island, only 274 square miles, which is just a bit bigger than El Paso.
El Paso?
At times we even wonder if it is still in TX. hee hee hee
Honestly there are many good people there, but the border influence really makes it hard.
Like I said, I would not fit in living in Singapore.
But thanks for the explanation of how it runs.
Looks like the MKG Group or MGK Group. Both seem to be based in either New York Or Paris.
Thanks
