After two weeks of people advocating for big-government, bottom-up philosophies vs. free market, small businesses, and ideas of how to grow our economy out of this mess, the halls have died down.
The delegates have returned home.
God has been voted down. The unborn child has been prayed for at the conclusion of both conventions. Assertions of freedom of choice have been made on everything from sex to guns. Distinct ideas have been put forth about economic improvement as well as America's role in the world, and one side has even carefully examined the number of times the other specifically mentioned the nation's military.

Much as I dislike Obama, 88 m unemployed would have to include retirees, stay at home moms and the bed-ridden, right? I think Romney’s talking 12 m jobs, that would barely dent the pile. I still like the analogy of the baseball manager who took over the team with 100 losses the year before, had a four year contract , but the best he’s ever done is lose 94. That guy never gets a renewal, no matter how many injuries the team had, etc. Especially when the owners are used to winning championships.
No. We only need to include the unemployed “undocumented workers”.... The rest of the analogy was totally lost on me.
I guess you don’t follow baseball.
